@@victoriapiva3467 it's evident that they have emotions, can breathe, and can feel pain. And if they can breathe they have a respiratory system of some kind. It's possible their bodies do house vital organs it's just that when Flynn programed the game he programed them to fall to cubes, or "derez", when they die to make it less gruesome when people played the game. We see in this show that some programs even find derezing disgusting. It's safe to assume they feel the same way about derezing as we do mutilation. To them, they are seeing someone torn to pieces, to us we see them turn into cubes. That perspective the writers put in is a good comparison to those curious whether programs have vital organs as we have seen programs hit with identity discs and not immediately been derezed, only injured. One big comparison is when Beck was scraped in the arm by a disc in the episode where he and Paige were stranded. She gives him medical aid and, though he was injured by a disc, she says he could lose his arm not immediately be derezed. That doesn't extend to programs who die of their injuries as Anon, the program you play as in the game Tron: Evolution, dies of his injuries and derezes after succumbing to them. This means that if a program is damaged enough, assuming through internal damage ie. heart, lungs, broken ribs, ect, they will die and soon after derez. I know the game isn't Canon but it's safe to say that we can take this information stated about injury to heart and accept that aspect as canon. So, yes, it's safe to assume programs can have a heart attack and even die of old age. Derezing soon after if no medical attention is administered. This is the best in-universe reason I can give you as the writers haven't confirmed anything as far as I'm aware. Hope this is a satisfactory enough answer.
Looking at these two in one shot, it makes their Designs ever more interesting. We know that Tron's neon is White, since it's meant to be an analogy to pure good (clear light). But at the same time we have Cable, who at first glance doesn't have a color, that others do - and only at closer look, we see that his neon is also meant to be White (and we know that, since Able's mechanic equipment is white). But unlike Tron, whose Neon is purely white and has white highlights - Able's white neon gives of a light-blue highlight (which is the same as Sam and Quorra had theirs in "Tron: Legacy"). Which is an interesting design choice that just further shows how much thought went into this Series. Because even tho normal programms can have white neons; only Tron, Flynn, and their Security Programms, have that unique feature. Something that Flynn did on purpose, so that certain types of programms would always stand out. *It could also be seen as Flynn using a more pure version of the Code for those characters, since the ISO's had the same clear white neon, and they were created by the GRID itself. *Also, if you watch the video at Max Resolution, at 3:00 you can see some weird lines on Tron's body. Which I think is something we weren't meant to see, as they look like rough lines for 3D Artists that were making the character models. So since the Show was made back when this Resolution wasn't that common, the creators likely didn't think anyone would see them (hell, maybe they didn't know it themselves).
Yes i agree its extremely unfair that they canceled it but at the same time Disney is aiming at a younger audience and this show was focused on more themes for older kids which made kids click off which is why Disney should make a separate channel for these types of shows that way they don't get canceled. I was told to watch MotorCity as it is another show very similar to Tron Uprising great on story and it was another amazing show that shouldn't have been canceled sure it wasn't as good as Tron Uprising even as dark but it was still in that group and Disney is sadly punishing the good shows but we'll see if they return in the future also thanks for watching
@@SuperDip I dont believe that was the reason. I believe the show was intentionally buried by being placed in an inconvenient time. And even if the issue was the target audience (which i severly doubt) why not put in on Disney channel?
@@barone8889 Disney did put the show to a different time because they didn't want to air the show but they had to complete the Season first it sucks but hopefully Disney makes the right decision on bringing the show back sometime
@@SuperDip If they do it will probably be watered down. Just like Avengers Assemble which is a watered down version of Earths Mightiest Heroes (which was a great cartoon).
Able was the best boss and most caring program out of the show. I know it’s dumb to think this. Yet I believe Able is alive and faked his death. I think he may turn up latter.
As long as they dont screw it up trying to force woke things into alot of good shows from back in the day that are great but some shows that got brought back were tarnished
One of the reasons this getting cancelled sucks is we never learned Tron and Ables history with one another.
So True.
Ouch, that hurts.
Just noticed how Tron's blacksuit looks a lot like his Legacy suit without the signature T on his chest.
That's because it is.
I'm surprised Able didn't get a heart attack for the many times Tron scares him
Honestly, I think Tron does it on purpose.
@@cybersearcher1041 oh ik he does
Florus.Goliat01 does programs have hearts?

Ooo, good observations here! I never realized how similar Able’s neon lights were to Tron’s until I rewatched these scenes.
The fact that such an excellent cartoon got cancelled proves just how full of BS Disney is.

Dramatic cartoons often challenge the status quo of animation. And Disney does not like to challenge the status quo of animation.
