Quite agree, the whole set has quite an impact as a solo acoustic. Love visiting Wales 🏴 Pembrokeshire is stunning, been going there annually for many years
I was there to see Songbook being recorded and I had goosebumps from start to finish. He's an amazing singer and storyteller. I had to travel over 300 miles to see him, but tickets were only £5 and there was NO WAY I was passing up on seeing Kelly Jones for £5 😂😍🥰🤩
@@Crooksey It really was! I had to stop myself from crying through most of it because hearing it acoustically just hit differently and I only found out about this by accident too, so I was VERY lucky. He is the best and I've never been disappointed by any of his or Stereophonics gigs.
Saw him in the Usher Hall in Edinburgh a dozen years or more ago - a pre tour concert , and he played non stop for nearly three hours. Fabulous , even if I was the oldest one in the audience!
Couldn’t agree more. A mark of a true performer is one who can captivate you with just their voice and the instrument they play. Kelly Jones is without doubt one of them; others I will include from my perspective are Neil Finn, Gary Lightbody, Mike Oldfield and Jean Michell Jarre, although the latter 2 are just for instrumental.
If Gold had a voice this is how it would sound, Gold Puer Gold. From the land of Song of Myth of Magic. Cymru. PEACE BE WITH YOU MY FRIENDS. 🙏 😎✌🏴
One of the most beautiful male voices in rock music.
Local boy in photograph hits so much harder acoustically. Amazing. Kelly never disappoints. Proud to be Welsh 🏴

That must have been wonderful to see that live. Saw him live at Bath Forum a few years ago, he’s a great performer
