As a proud Welshman, I am incredulous that Kelly is not more of a Welsh Hero. He is the preeminent singer/songwriter that Wales has produced in the last 30 years or more. Watch him singing Handbags and the Gladrags with Rod Stewart. Rod knows that he is out of his depth and the gentleman Kelly Jones holds back. I sing and play guitar and so I know as a fan and musician how absolutely amazing this man's voice is. Kelly, you da man!

stereohonics are my favourite band of all time. I love their songs and Kelly's lyrics are great, really descriptive and tell stories about his life and what surrounds him. This insight into how he writes his songs and what stories they come from is really interesting.

Just a date correction:
This was recorded at the Hay Festival, Hay-on-Wye, Wales, at the Sky Arts Studio on 29 May 2010 sometime between 5 and 7pm, and broadcast on Sky Arts' Songbook program in 2010.
Been lucky enough to see him many times,you can't beat acoustic music. You can't hide ....there's not many artists who would contemplate even trying it ,some muddle through it , he just smashes the f#@k out of it the man's a wizard 👍
