In this video Rich from Eat Sleep VR reviews and demos the kiwi design battery strap which gives you more than 3 hours extra battery and gameplay with the quest 3

Thanks. I like my Kiwi strap with the battery. Very comfortable.
What’s better is the bobo vr s3 pro head strap it’s actually really good there is a fan and it has a battery pack.
Does the meta quest 3 with the kiwi headset still have light leakage through the nose area or does it block it out?
Just got the new BoboVR S3 Pro with the larger B100 hot swappable battery...wow!
Over 3 hours in VR/AR and the Q3 battery is still at 100%.
£68 delivered direct from BoboVR.
Highly recommended! 😎🤘🏻
Out of stock tho in the UK
@@ShadowEnigmaTVThe S3 pro only just came out and only being sold direct from BoboVR in China right now...I ordered direct and took about 2 weeks. Worth it tho.
Any buzzing?
Yeah it has a loud buzzing sound for me
But it’s an easy fix jst don’t use the battery until you’re headset is at 65% to 75%, it works for me
Great review!
Thanks 👍
I have the same headstrap and the battery lasts for about an hour if i am lucky.
I bought this head strap and have enjoyed it. The only complaint I have is that you can't turn off the headstrap while plugged in (From what I have read leaving it plugged in and charging the headset all the time is really bad for the quest 3 battery). That leaves me to charge the strap and the headset separately which is a bit of a bother.
Yes I agree, I wish it had an on/off switch. There’s mixed opinion on whether it’s bad for the quest 3 because in theory it should have over charge circuits in place to protect it but yes better to be safe.
Which headstrap has the least wobble when moving the head quickly or looking down (doesn't slip)?
Does anyone know how many output watts kiwi delivers ?
I just really hope they fix the buzzing issue...
The Bobo strap is the one with the buzzing issue. I'm pretty sure it's because the battery makes electrical contact with magnets. The battery on this strap is directly wired and not removeable, hence no buzzing at any charge or volume level (in my experience).
@@maven2k uh thats not the case for me. The second I put in the charging cable it buzzes. No matter what the percentage on the headset is. I even noticed in the Kiwi discord that the buzzing is a common issue.
@@Somanyissues64 sorry to hear that. My buddy and I both have one and have no issues. Hope you figure it out.
Please, I played last night until Q3 battery was at 45% and the kiwi battery was empty. Now I should keep the kiwi battery conected to Q3 and charge both (Q3 and kiwi battery) same time? Or charge kiwi battery first and then charge Q3 when the battery is at 20 percent?
Sorry I got distracted by the Amiga on the wall😂
😂
I thought you said you'd tell us if it buzzes??
I did, you must have missed it - tried at different volumes and no buzzing
@@EatSleepVR oh sorry about that!! Excellent thanks!
Actually I just watched the whole video again, and still couldn't find the spot where you describe this. Can you please give me the time where this is mentioned?
@@HelmutBemboka3:45
@@poog6256 I stand corrected! Thank-you! Also, I actually bought this now, and can confirm. It's a really great headstrap with no buzzing.
Can you still use a link cable with it?
Great review, but I think it's $79 not $59
Thanks, yes I got confused as there is a $59 one as well - it’s $59 for the battery strap that isn’t compatible with the charge stand and $79 for the one that is with the special magnet connector 👍
