You are the most entertaining scavenger U-tube. Enjoy watching your videos. Advice from me (72 yrs. old) whenever you jump down from a dumpster bend at the knees in order to absorbe the shock. If not you’ll be having lots of problem on your knee in the future.

Those pumps are for pushing fluids, meds, and the such via IV. Have set up and used quite a few. Cool weather here in north Texas at night and warm during the day. Stay safe and warm.

You can take the pretty marble tile and turn them into cutting boards.
Start changing the oil on your truck yourself with those ramps saves a lot of money and know you’re always putting in good oil when you do it yourself and it’s always nice in Texas so you can do it you’re around I live in New England so in the winter kind of sucks doing it in the snow
World-class madcap scheme= drive to Texas, change oil in hotel parking lot. lol
And while you're at it don't forget to take all those bags of bottles and cans you been saving to Michigan for the returns ( :

Mike I think you carry a 5 gallon bucket into the dumpsters it would save you time . All those snippets would have fit there along with that other stuff. Just trying to help you be more proficient.
He’s mentioned several times that only about 10% of the dumpsters he visits have anything worth putting in his videos, that includes the ones with only one thing in them, he moves fast, running around with a bucket would be a waste of time and energy 90% of the time especially when often a dumpster will have a bucket or box in it already.
This last couple of dumpsters had 50 dollars of Pepsi cans in them , lolol, nice, thanks BigAl California.

It drives me crazy that you don't grab those aluminum cans while you are already in the trash or when they are on the top and don't take much effort to get. I know they don't weight much but at least it would keep them out of the landfills. Maybe they would pay for the gas you used for diving. How much is aluminum cans worth anyway.
Outside of states with deposits it’s considered painted aluminum. Thirty cans will get you a cent to a cent and a half, that’s a lot of space and mold and bugs to deal with.

Park in front of the dumpster and you can block the garbage man. If you lost consciousness they couldn't just throw you away without a tow-truck.
At 23:04 into the video, you were talking about slipping, hitting your head and getting dumped into the truck.
In January 2023 a NJ teenager who left a party, drunk climbed into a dumpster, passed out and was killed when the garbage truck emptied the dumpster in the morning.
Surveillance cameras saw him climb in the dumpster, and he never made it out.
Man I use to do exactly what you are doing, 15 years then my back went out. Been down every since.

@@Breazeh My late husband is a ham operator.. He did a lot of stuff when it came to radios and towers,,, Scrapped coax nowadays is copper clad aluminum ,, Worthless IMO.

Some of that medical supplies can still be used if donated to animal rescues.
No, old rubber and plastic degrades over time even still in original packaging. It forms toxic chemicals that can poison the blood. Best to discard and stick with new product. Anything expired in 2017 would only have been usable at most a few months after expiration, but only if it was stored in air conditioning, as heat will speed up the degradation process, even making medical 'old new stock' unusable before it's expiration date.
Man I went diving tonight and the plethora of stuff I got shower curtains totes lids for totes bag of flour three bottles of Tylenol Cold type stuff a bottle of Tylenol some bottles of vitamins diapers Pull-Ups 23 light beers don't expire until next year binders for notebooks.

The BIG coax is Andrews Heliax, the corrugated outer is Copper, the centre conductor can be either Copper or some are Aluminium with a Copper jacket. For high power transmitters.

Hey mike those medical supplies can be sent to Mexico with missionaries. They get it to doctors over there who help people for free. When I find stuff. Send it with missionaries and they are so happy because they don’t get free stuff from their government. Here in the USA they get so much free and just toss it when they don’t need it anymore. Expired supplies can be used. Think about it.😁

That one cable that you found is for cell phone towers that's the coax that goes to the antennas that's on the tower I have scrapped a few hundred dollars of that stuff and that's only the half inch stuff it goes up bigger from there

Ever expanding hose is the best I would take it home test it. People get short of cash make a return claiming defective product and it is perfect.

Man I wish I lived someplace that had the scrap that you get I would take every bit of that stuff. I like watching your videos I have mentioned you and you have inspired me to start scrapping again at age 58 I did it with my dad as a youngster I don’t like dumpster diving. Are use social media and have people called me up to pick up stuff but I love the dumpsters you got. I’m amazed at some of the things you get I’m sure you’re making a shit ton of money.

Hey Mike @ 31:06 that two for one ballast one of them is probably a battery back up emergency light ballast. It will have a big Lithium or Ni battery in it

Lord Jess , medical scrap like them boxes can be donated to your local free clinics.they beg for supplies. They care for the poorest of the poor , especially homeless folks.
Sell the desk lamp, you should get more than scrap value out of it online or at a yard sale.

Listen, Mike...I've been in the hospital enough times to know these things when I see them. They're IV pumps. To deliver specific doses of Intraveinous medication to a patient over a specific time period.
We have found the CAT wire. Now to find a nice fuzzy kitty cat! That desk/task light Mike dug out around 39:00 is worth some bucks, or it was a few years back. If it works anyway.
