You're right that the black line is inaccurate if the figure is supposed to be based on the animated appearances, but I'm so glad it's there. I much prefer the live-action look.

The Phase II Clone Trooper is probably my figure of the year, tied with Darth Malgus. Sucks that the faceprint isn’t that good but he looks fantastic with the helmet on.
It's such a great trooper body... Every improvement they made works very well. Yeah, the face isn't the greatest - but the helmet is definately staying on. And yeah, Malgus is certainly one of the best. Thanks for watching, Dill!

It's a great figure. I'm glad they're going back to windowed packaging. That was such a huge mistake on Hasbro's part. You literally have no idea what the figure looks like until you open it. If their QC was more consistent, it wouldn't be a problem - but sadly, that's not the case. My copy looks okay for the most part, except the helmet shape. I appreciate you checking out the review!
I'm really glad about the improvements they made. Finally painted heads and removable helmets. I know the head doesn't have the best decco but it's fantastic for customs. Now Hasbro do the same for Stormies. They have a bald head under the helmet. It would be great to have a painted one that could be swapped with the clones for variety. Oh and give em bicep swivel too. The soft rubber is a concern for the shoulder and knee pads.
Indeed. Everything on this trooper just works. Yeah, the face would be great for customs. I like your idea for the Stormtroopers - that'd be kinda cool. The rubber pads - we shall see... I love this figure. It’s awesome. Mine had an issue with my visor. It borderline rubbed off. I made a video about the visor. I did find it funny he had a bootleg E11 lol

Yeah, I grabbed both. I often pass on the Pulse exclusives, but I couldn't resist the Super Battle Droid. The Clone 2-pack at 24.99 was a no brainer. Looking forward to both.
It’s a good figure. I think the face is pretty bad honestly. The eyes and eyebrows look like they were hand painted on like the pre photo real days. I’ll be keeping the helmet on these guys. Bigger disappointment for me is the matte finish on the armor. I don’t know if that is accurate or not but I vastly prefer the gloss armor finish like the stormies have and the older clones have. Just some nitpicks that knock him down a couple pegs for me. He’s still a top 10 fig for the year with all the articulation upgrades he has.
