Won’t that bottom piece block the intercooler from getting air?

I also have concerns the bottom piece will restrict airflow to the intercooler. Anyone ever get solid answers regarding this?

Need to trim both sides of window to fit 2021 X3 and easy 1 1/2 hr project.

Been sitting here for at least a hour and a half trying my hardest to make it fit wondering what I’m doing wrong.

Yeah I guess I found out the hard way. I fought it for about an hour. I also ended up trimming the windshield in the lower corners. They needs to redesign the windshield for 2021 and up models. Even after trimming it was a bit of bear to get the top bolts started.

First off...thank you for taking time to make and post this video but dude, it is not simple nor quick to install. I recently installed one on my X3 and it took more than 2 hrs. Your video was edited so much it is misleading. Next time don't edit, show it as "real time".

Doesn't even fit!! This is the second one that they have sent me and none of the holes line up correctly. You would think for $300 it would be a perfect fit!

Yeah these clamps are horrible. Not sure why you wouldn’t do the Velcro straps like every other one
