In greek mythology, both Helios and Apollo were the sun god, but Helios was more widely accepted as the true sun god. Kinda funny since the Helios blaster is seen as the better version of the Apollo.
My old Apollo (team red, naturally) has officially stopped working (the gears no longer catch for some reason), so I am definitely picking one of these up.
Look up HPApollo u could turn ur old Apollo into one

The old ones had plastic gears. The new Apollo has metal gears, and hopefully so does the Helios.

Waiting for a third party pump action kit before i purchase one ... i love my pump-action apollo for HvZ and lowering the profile of the pump kit to the side to accommodate the new priming mechanism seems great.
Ordered one from amazon :) gonna be my main with the Kronos being my side arm.
Love that immediate switch in your speech when ideas started popping into your head XD I’ll definitely be picking this one up, but I’ll really need to find a way to make it pump action. Ooh, maybe chop off a Longshot barrel, attach to front, strap on a pump grip that way? .... *runs off to make blueprints*

I live in Vietnam. No snow for me! I’m in an airport in Thailand right now and about to go to the beach after a connecting flight! I’d say that’s pretty nice too😁

Also, hiking, sees red stuff flying everywhere starts running to the hospital to see if you are hallucinating when knocked out by red stuff. Wakes up to see a stranger in sunglasses staring at you.

That is strange because I just got the Kronos and it has a hop up maybe something else but it seemed to be a hop up

Iain Macmillan might be a factory issue, you could look into possibly trying to get a refund. That’s if it’s actually broken though, if not just snap it in again.

My parents say I’m too old for nerf guns. I have some of the old ones but they don’t suffice to what there is now. I’ve also spent $2000 on paintball so kinda hard to take a step back.

I got mine on sale for like $25CAD, & I got it in blue because they didn't have red, & I already have a red Apollo & a phantom corps Kronos, lol.
I got my Apollo the same year that it came out, then I got my Kronos just a couple years ago, & then I got my Helios a day ago.

with this gun you can use the spring release and the return spring to load and fire four balls at once

the funny thing is in greek mythology apollo became the sun god after helios which makes it kinda ironic that the helios is the new apollo and so much better

everything Rival is a sniper. they all shoot harder than the dart blasters (stock) and pretty accurately

My two major issues with the Helios are that the priming handle can pop off occasionally and the attachment point under the stock is not small enough to put a Nerf brand bandoleer on it. I picked mine up for $20 in the Amazon flash deal and at that price I think this blaster is an instant buy, but at $30 I would say spend the little bit extra for the Artemis.

Lorddraconical you are able to change what side the priming bar is on. Theres a small slide behind the bar that you slide back and then you pull out the bar
nice review! definitely a cool blaster and a welcome addition to the line up. while ima big fan of the Artemis, there is merrit to being able to take independent magazines. carry four 12 rounders in your pocket and you have higher over all capacity than what the Artemis has on board. now if only i had nerf tuber money to always get every blaster >.>

I think the Helios would be a cool pseudo-secondary if you're doing an all-Rival kit
Draco sadly I got the nerf Helios and this happened when I got it out of the box I couldn’t prime it I use the un priming bottom and it dint work i was for around £30 and now it’s £60 😞😞😞 now I freaking hate this blaster

Is this gun purely human error? My mind automatically goes to the cons of the gun as i see on amazon/target complaints. its at a good price right now and i really wanna get it plus the worker mod kit. it looks extremely badass like a John Wick pump action shotty.

In Poland Artemis is 320zł ($80~) and Helios is 170zl($35~) so thats how i ended up with helios and i like it

I will say, I have a lot of younger cousins that are really into nerf, my older cousin will NOT let them use his rival guns. He LOVES the safety feature of rival guns. So yeah... He wants it... Please don't remove it hasbrooo

Nathan Ngau wouldn’t work because of the return spring in the blaster, unless you remove the return spring. But at that point, you might as well just use an Apollo pump grip
