THE FLY BOX: 11 - Matanaise Speciale

This fly made its way to my fly box through a friend. It was in the summer of 2019 that I was able to appreciate its effectiveness, and you will discover it in action during the third season of King of the River.
The Matanaise Spéciale is a creation of Michel Marchand, an avid Atlantic Salmon fisherman. Michel has been sharing his fly fishing and fly tying knowledge for several years, and it was with great generosity that he agreed to reveal to Paul Leblanc the design of this fly, created in 2018.
