Maklube Recipe: Gorgeous Antioch (Antakya/Turkey) Main Course

Hello and welcome to Elif's kitchen.
Today I want to share with you the Maklube recipe that I learned from my mother and made for years. Its a very delicious Turkish main course
1 kilo of eggplant
enough liquid oil
400 grams of beef
3 cups of rice (750gr)
enough hot water
enough salt
2 cups of broth (600gr)
2 cups of water (600gr)
raw almonds (100gr)
butter (60gr)

I normally avoid aubergine because of the bitterness. I will try the salt water trick 😋
