I like the fact that it's not longer. In close quarters you may not have enough room to whip around something longer. The Fast Strike gives you more "shots" in a quicker amount of time.

I think that's a very bad ass product and people underestimate it.

Hello, we actually manufactured a version that was two inches longer and we found that the recoil time was much slower and you also were in danger of self-striking. That is why we settled on the 14" striking portion.
Beating up a dummy is one thing but when a guy that size grab your wrist, it's over. 1:50

Would it be effective against someone on drugs or someone that's just really strong?
We can't guarantee it would stop an attacker on drugs as they can still function while enduring a lot of pain at times. I do believe taking a strike to the face even once with this product will make people stop and try to shield their face no matter their strength. That is when you would strike multiple times over and over.
JBM, hundreds of times a year police FIREARMS don’t stop drugged out people. That’s going to be a gamble no matter what you’re using, but the fast strike whip delivers some of the most intense non-lethal pain compliance strikes. I am a 6’4” 260 lb weightlifter and let my wife strike me with this product, it was VERY effective to say the least.

At some point, you have to realize that with any self-defense "tools" - outside of a gun - you're going to need to be able to fight, hand-to-hand and possibly on the ground. The attacker is not likely to just stand there and let you hit him.
Hi Dave I've bought a fast strike from your Europe seller I have a problem there's not anti rotation additive to keep the fast strike rotating mine doesn't have the additive and makes a horrible rattleing sound when used I'm now trying to get a refund I'm not happy with the fast strike I was sold

We no longer use the adhesive since we added a knurl to the internal parts that prevents them from rotating in the handle. If you are hearing a rattling it just means that you need to tension the whip. If you use this a lot, the cable will stretch over time and loosen up. As we state in the instructions, it is important to keep the whip tensioned like it was when you recieved it. If you continue to use the whip with loose tension, it will damage the cable more as it allows it to bend so far in each direction. Cable tension is very important to function and longevity. Striking is a high impact event and puts considerable stress on the materials. This is why the tensioning mechanism is in place as these materials will stretch with us and will need to be adjusted. It is all based on how much you use the product.

Fast strike is a great none lethal self defense weapon it will keep a attacker away from you without causing severe damage it's easy to use
