I just bought the Fast Strike and am well pleased. I watched different videos, comparing similar weapons with each other and chose Fast Strike for the following reasons: 1. It's conceal-ability, either down your pant leg or my preference, in my belt loops. 2. Comfort. You don't know your wearing it when in your belt loops and it is easily used. 3. Unlike a lot of self defense gadgets, this lets you maintain distance from your opponent 4. As shown in this video, you whip it around as you hit, making it very hard for an attacker to take it away from you. 5. Most important, it hurts. Just hitting myself at about 10 % (once across my forearm an once on my back) produced a considerable amount of pain. I can't imagine being hit using full force. The one on my back produced the most pain. As the cable portion wrapped over my shoulder (which produced pain), it snapped the stainless steel tip into my back with even more force and a lot more pain. I also bought the wrist strap, for about $3 more, but quickly realized it was really useless. The object is conceal-ability. The strap makes it harder to conceal and when needed, you certainly don't have time to put the strap on. To walk around with it dangling from you wrist, totally takes away the element of surprise and gives your attacker time to think up ways to countermand the Fast Strike. I would not use the butt end as a weapon since this might knock it out of your hand. I paid $30 for the Fast Strike, strap plus shipping and see it as money well spent.
So... are you walking around Mogadishu, Somalia with clothes made of dollar bills? Or how often do you get attacked on daily basis exactly to need to carry around gadgets? How many attackers have you neutralized so far? Those gadgets are hysterical. At best, a night club bouncer in a shitty neighborhood could use one, and even they know better. If anything, they could sure come handy if *you're* a criminal.
the fast strike isn't going to be any more effective than a tree branch in a real fight. You might get one hit in before an attacker can close a 3-4 foot gap, then you're fucked because you need to wind up to strike with this tool. Hesitant to even call it a weapon. Get a gun. Can't carry a gun in your area? Get a knife or can of mace. Those are the only self defense measures I'd entrust my life to if I really needed to defend myself.
@@guruthossindarin3563 That's really important, because these products and sometimes stun guns are not to increase your chance of keeping your money, they are there to increase the chance of losing your life.
IMO, the best weapon to incapacitate anyone is that "Fast Strike" gadget. It's a bit dressed up, but basically it's a steel whip, with steel cable wrapped in plastic. Hit anyone and GUARANTEED that person's gonna be in some SERIOUS pain. And, yes, anyone can use it, and if it connects and hits skin or single-layer clothing, the person hit will wish they never encountered that weapon.
A lot of these products require training, especially in the realm of empty handed skills. Some of these products are dubious at best. Buyer beware. Because of the affiliate relationship, there is a monetary incentive for this infomercial channel to sell these things. "Ideal Conceal..." Really? It's not quick into action nor easy to aim under stress. Is it even legal in all 50 states? It might make a great back up gun to your back up gun. As to the Nimb, when seconds matter, help is only minutes away. Bola Wrap, you only get one shot. Pepper Spray gun? No, that would never be mistaken for a lethal weapon and get you shot by someone with a real gun. I like the distance factor, but then you have a problem of claiming a person was an imminent threat. You could be charged with assault. It's not very concealable, is it? The problem with Zap is that you need to be up close and personal. If you don't have skills, you don't want to be within arms reach of your assailant. Tiger Lady? If you don't already have those in hand, you're screwed. If you don't have empty handed skills, you're really screwed. Tasers are, at best, reliable 50% of the time. That's why cops who use them only do so with lethal backup in case the taser fails. Ask any cop if they would trust their life to a taser. Its ability to work effectively is dependent on distance, environment (is there a little tree branch in the way?) and clothing of the assailant. Yellow Jacked requires empty handed skills. Instafire does not list the percentage of Major Capsaicinoids. That is different from the OC content. Without knowing that, you are throwing your money and safety away. I like the idea of the Fast Strike, problem is, you need empty handed skills for it to be effective.
Not to mention, all of these weapons are just as dangerous to you as any possible attacker if you aren't commited to using it, which I am guessing that a random person with no combat skills will not be.
bolawrap is cool...fast strike or tiger lady are like children's toy. A robber or sexual offender is not going away with few scratches or whips. Those toys only make offenders more aggressive without any effect.

I had broken his arm defending myself on the playground, I was suspended for 2 or 3 days and my dad took me to Chuck-e-Cheese to celebrate.

Hopefully this isn't the first comment, and it's critical. The bola shooter can impact the skin, and really cut up a perp and possibly land you in court. Pepper spray isn't always legal, so check local laws. The flexible quickstick may be usable in most states since it's not actually a true "quickstick." In many places, carrying a quickstick is illegal. Support about being so critical, because the tech is pretty cool. Yellow Jacket. I love that this thing extends my phone's battery life that I can use it all day! Oh an attacker is coming, no worries! Shit, where's my power bank?
It also really doesn't cause any considerable damage, the claws are too small and don't look sharp enough to penetrate deeper than the skin. So all it's going to do is piss your attacker off and get you killed. But hey, at least the DNA and the unique scratch mark will help them catch the guy after he kills you!
Top tips for me: 1- Don't be afraid on 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 ... You have good odds 2- Walk in the middle of the road ... That gives you better options 3- Make a lot of noise and try to have a strong confident voice 4- Pick something to fight with like a rock or a stick 5- Think quickly ... Inteligent can overcome 6- Know when to run ... Outnumbered like 2 or more ... 7- Know when to hide ... 8- Know when to fight for yourlife or if it is not worth it 9- Call the police or sick help 10- Try to not stay at home alone 11- Don't let precious things in home just hide them or in bank 12- Check the doors and windows before going to sleep 13- Install cameras around if you have a big house 14- Hire a security guy 15- Make it clear that losing your life for your rights is not a bad thing ... 16- Stay safe
Living in a "safe" neighborhood helps a lot, stay away from inner cities where you don't know the lay of the land, park under a light not in the dark side of a public garage, be aware of your environment and have an escape route if possible, don't behave like an easy target, etc.
Remember, if you want a weapon for the sake of feeling more powerful, you're not the right person to have a weapon. Instead, invest in martial arts. You will feel more in control of your life, you'll get extra aggression out, you'll be healthier and happier too. If you intend on going into full-contact sparring, i suggest boxing, muai tai, brazillian jiu jitsu, savate, and kali stick fighting. In my opinion, these are hte martial arts most likely to help you in a real fight too. the discipline gained from dedicating yourself to a martial art will also carry you in every other aspect of your life. If you still don't feel comfortable, I personally wear an athlete's cup wherever i go, so if something _does_ go down, i know even in the worst case scenario, my 'boys' are safe. IMO, watching someone put in a mouth guard right before they fight you is also pretty intimidating. I walk around with some good confidence, knowing that at the very least, i won't be kicked in the balls easily. If a weapon gets involved in a fight, you need to be ready to kill. It's so easy to say those words, and a lot of people either think they can do it, or think that their _hatred_ of someone is enough to do it. but it's not. Anger doesn't make it easy, it just makes it a mistake.
The bolawrap is a great idea, needs a little fine tuning like maybe double shot capability so you can wrap legs and arms or legs twice to increase time it takes for attacker to get up. There are double shot tasers, so shouldn't be too long before they add that capability to a different model.
Yeah, you could have the best weapon ever concieved and a person with training would still kick your ass if they wanted to, plus if they have the element of suprise these are even more useless
The Cat Claws DNA collector is the most useful item here. Just carefully scratch yourself during the attack and when they eventually find your violated body they won't need dental records to identify you 😄
Don't be afraid to carry illegal weapons. If you some day end up in a life or death situation, you'd much rather settle in court than settle in a morgue, right?
All right all right that's talk about the tiger lady I want those that s*** is dope we also need Yellow Jacket I've been talking about an app to make a f****** phone a taser for years I didn't get paid but it's good to see you in your dreams come to volition
That ring is the worst. “ I was walking down this dark alley, I knew it was dumb but i did it anyway because I knew someone would eventually find my body. Thanks False Sense of Security Ring”
Scrumple Dumple if they get close enough it would. If someone has a lethal or non lethal weapon and gets close enough that they can cause death or great bodily harm you can use lethal force to protect yourself. This whip weapon for example could cut open your skin quickly. It could take out an eye or if hit in the neck it could sever the carotid artery and you’d bleed out before anyone could call 911. So “short range non-lethal tech” can be deadly if used properly or by accident. I tell you I’d rather shoot someone within a few feet of me if they had a weapon w deadly potential. But that’s a choice each person has to make.
That bolo gun is coooool. I read a story about a guy that was almost black out drunk and at a gas station nearly falling asleep on the counter and the clerk tried to get him to not drive and called 911, he did and a half mile away ran over a woman on the sidewalk and killed her. That Bolo would have been a great way to detain him until cops arrive without legal repercussions.
If your serious carry a .45 if you're on a budget carry a can of oven cleaner. If you're the type that has a survival knife with fishing hooks and matches in the handle then get one of these ten things
A 9mm has less recoil so is a little easier to shoot. But whatever gun you choose the key is to be very familiar with it and practice with it. My mom is 79 and she bought a 38 S&M J frame revolver. No safety, just point and shoot. With a laser sight no less. No amount of convincing would make her believe buying it was a bad idea. She said she was going to carry it in her purse. She had Firefox twice at the gun shop where she bought it and that was the extent of her training. Finally I unloaded the gun and placed it on the kitchen table in front of her. I put a piece of notebook paper over it. I told her to try to grab the gun before I got to it and I stepped 15 feet back. I said now! She went for the gun and I did. I got to it first and she was shocked.....and her purse is harder than simply moving a piece of paper. Whichever gun I worry about the people who buy one and a box of shells then forget about it until they need it.
Sorry...I had meant to say she had only fired it twice....not firefox. But that gun was hammered with no safety. A beauty for a trained concealed carry holder.
8:45 i have this on my elementary days.... My father build some "DIY " for my self defense on bullies in my school back on my elem days... (2004) I think my father are the first invented this. 😂
My best weapon for self defense is the intelligence I have to helps me realize I'm not in danger when I'm walking around. I have a bigger chance of being in a fire than being in a wild west shootout, but I don't carry around a fire extinguisher in a constant panic state.
I doubt any of these would work without considerable training. There are videos on YT about armed professionals being attacked and totally incapacitated by an assailant with a knife before they even have time to get it out of the holster, let alone remove the safety and point and shoot with accuracy. Be aware to be safe is the first rule of self defence.
In my opinion...if someone makes the decision to break into your home, or attack you...they have already accepted the consequences. Ill only be calling the police to remove their dead body
I feel like the Bola wrap one would be a lot more useful to a serial killer or rapist than it would be to someone trying to defend themselves. It's more of a catching people who are running away from you tool, then a stopping someone trying to attack you one lol
It would work equally well on someone coming toward you and give you time to escape. It's one of the very few things on this list that looks like it might actually be useful. The phone case/stun gun looks like it could also be useful, but I just read an article by Dr, Will Dabbs about a phone case/stun gun -- he didn't mention who made it -- that he thought was great until he accidentally zapped himself in the head with it. At that point, he sent it back to the manufacturer along with a letter stating that they seriously needed to redesign the safety catch!
All prohibited in Canada. In this country, we need an app that records audio, time and place of incident to reduce paperwork for the cops. Donuts over duty. Also remember that the bad guys can use all of these devices as well.
I'm in law enforcement. Each of these "defense" options are considered as weapons in the state of Florida. You need a concealed carry permit to carry these. FYI. You will be charged and probably arrested if you use them in an aggressive manner.
@@Pikepaw that’s an upper limit for the effectiveness of Tools. Not a limit downwards. What I’m trying to say is, yes, how good a tool is does depend on the person using it. But if the tool itself isn’t thought through, the person can be using it as well as they want, the tool still isn’t going to do what it’s supposed to do.
@@Sepwelt oh yeah, if you are working with a flawed tool, then you can only do so much. The user and the tool have to be in a balance. My point was trying to agree with Ally Assassin. The overblown promises of being able to use these devices without taking into account training makes these suspect. It is a big problem myself and many others have with these gimmicks. Even if some of them can be effective after training, they are never advertised like that. People with sufficient training of the reality of protecting themselves are also good at finding the right tools for the job.

Well, he mentioned it at the beginning, "Martial Arts"
Great products: got to get that gun :) --- perhaps brass knuckles with mini tiger claws... now that's a handy tool
Very informative
“Without having to worry about training.” You have to train to use anything in a self defense scenario.
Im pretty sure when the claw scrapes someone, dna will be an afterthought since the scratch marks are pretty unique.
It also really doesn't cause any considerable damage, the claws are too small and don't look sharp enough to penetrate deeper than the skin. So all it's going to do is piss your attacker off and get you killed. But hey, at least the DNA and the unique scratch mark will help them catch the guy after he kills you!

Over 100 years later you still can't the peace of mind of my fav the 1911.
Living in a "safe" neighborhood helps a lot, stay away from inner cities where you don't know the lay of the land, park under a light not in the dark side of a public garage, be aware of your environment and have an escape route if possible, don't behave like an easy target, etc.
True, abandon all cities if possible.

This could almost be called the "Batman List of Defense Gadgets" lol Cool stuff!
Damn, you beat me to it,😅😅
Love that stun gun case, perfect for a London cumuter
UK. Cockney. cultivator it's illegal in uk
Self defense without training? Sounds scammy to me ... .
Yeah, you could have the best weapon ever concieved and a person with training would still kick your ass if they wanted to, plus if they have the element of suprise these are even more useless
Some awesome products, I can feel comfortable in any threatening situation with any of these products.

The Cat Claws DNA collector is the most useful item here. Just carefully scratch yourself during the attack and when they eventually find your violated body they won't need dental records to identify you 😄
I want the version with the long handle so I can scratch my back with it.
Bolawrap = I just became 1970's Spiderman! :D
BoloWrap is only for law enforcement, last I saw on their website.
Don't be afraid to carry illegal weapons. If you some day end up in a life or death situation, you'd much rather settle in court than settle in a morgue, right?

"Looks badass." The number one consideration, when someone is trying to kill you.
woah dude that looks badass!! alright imma attack u now
“But he had only had a phone in his hand why’d they shoot him?”
I can already see the rioting-such a shame.
Shooting would still not be an appropriate response to someone with short-range non-lethal tech.
Defund the police lol
I'll buy the pepper spray so my food will be spicy 😂
Can u buy these off amazon?
I love the cell phone stun gun pretty cool
Me: clicks on this video to find ways to defend myself incase someone decides to steal my electric skateboard

It's important to know tasers only disable an attacker while shocking and only disable 50% of the time. Agressive people can fight through it.
Drunks and methheads also..
These are all great devices! Think about it. The person attacking you will be laughing so hard you'll be able to run away.

@@rickdeckard1075 probably not powerful enough. "it would ruin the marketing of our useless product."
धन्यवाद ❤️🙏
If your serious carry a .45 if you're on a budget carry a can of oven cleaner. If you're the type that has a survival knife with fishing hooks and matches in the handle then get one of these ten things
If you're serious carry 9mm not .45 unless you have lots of previous training with .45
A 9mm has less recoil so is a little easier to shoot.

My father build some "DIY " for my self defense on bullies in my school back on my elem days... (2004)
I think my father are the first invented this. 😂
My best weapon for self defense is the intelligence I have to helps me realize I'm not in danger when I'm walking around. I have a bigger chance of being in a fire than being in a wild west shootout, but I don't carry around a fire extinguisher in a constant panic state.
do you have a fire extinguisher in your home ?

Don't forget the 'Pacer'.
12 months for possessing offensive weapon.Take him down. " But your honour on youTube said".....
Yup. Being aware of what's going on around you will tell you alot.

That foldo-gun is like a rubix cube that can accidentally discharge like a champ!
Great thank you
Great info
The last one is funny, why not bringing a feather sweep around, I think it is longer and works better and completely legal.
"Without worrying about worrying anyone!"

I'm in law enforcement. Each of these "defense" options are considered as weapons in the state of Florida. You need a concealed carry permit to carry these. FYI.
You will be charged and probably arrested if you use them in an aggressive manner.

Any tool is only as effective as the person using it.
