Great video! My first guess is that 100% of the inspiration for this short was Lone Wolf and Cub. Even the Mandalorian has a ton of elements from Lone Wolf and Cub. Ogami Itto rules! He still walks the Demon Way In Hell!!

I believe it was the episode when Jack found his destroyed village and was reminiscing about his childhood. He and cub stood on the sidelines and saw Wolf fending off against four assassins.

@@ja1207 It's actually about 6-7 movies that are based on a manga. There is a live action TV show from what I remember as well but these scenes are from the movies. I know because I watched them all in order like a decade ago lol thanks to Kill Bill.
