    I think it’s fair that Lyles and Co. overestimate. This is how you set ambitious goals for yourself and give fans-and TH-camrs-something to talk about.
    Anyway, I chime in: Your channel gets better every time and I am glad you avoid over the top click bait.

    Yoo JumpMan how could you leave out the European Record in the Heptathlon?! Skotheim broke Kevin Mayer's European Record, exiting all the way to the 1000m, jumping 8.19m in the process🫣

    FOOOR THE ALGORITHMMMMM
    Jumpman is the best track & field youtuber of all time.
    He has the best takes ever!
    He never memes and is very straightforward!
    Nothing he ever says or does is controversial in the slightest, and he has never nor ever will be biased towards New Zealand.

    The New Balance Indoor Grand Prix was definitely a big name meet, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how this week can build on last week, with another three Indoor Tour Gold events, including Millrose. Quincy Wilson blows my mind, he only had his 17th birthday a month ago. For a couple of years I've thought Letsile Tebogo has the most potential in the 400m, if he decides to direct his energy that way, now I think Quincy probably has as much potential, if not more and his energy is firmly directed that way. The men's 400m is going to be nuts within the next few years.
    I get a little frustrated by the amazing performances from NCAA athletes, because so many of them don't convert that momentum to the pro circuit, but it's still good to see them.

      Yeah, ncaa kids get their legs blasted early. But it's good development. And my only thought with quincy is if he could run well too haha. Lots of lost energy with his form is what I see. But im no biomechanist so maybe he's right lol

    • @Neofolis
      @Neofolis 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@JumpmanTF Yeah, his form looks like he based it on the way Phoebe from Friends jogs. The thing is if he is running 45's at 16 with bad form, I can't even begin to imagine what he will run at 24 with good form. The 400m in particular benefits so much from a fully developed adult physique, I doubt he has done much strength training at just 17 and that alone should make a huge difference.
      I know people frequently comment about how improvements in technology and training are contributing to improved performances, but this generation of athletes just seem like a huge jump over what we've seen in the past.

    Quincy Wilson: Guess I'll just take the lane 2.

    The Millrose Games this weekend will be exciting! With Femke, Noah and Julien having said they will (most likely) not be running at World Indoors, it will be interesting to see who will dominate in the sprint events, and Lachlan Kennedy could very well be one of them. A great summary of this week in track and field.

    Kapitolnik can probably go a ways higher with the right coaches. Last couple years the story with him was giant amounts of vertical but inconsistent takeoff and pretty sketchy technique. If he cleans those up, and in this 2.31 it certainly looks like he has, he should be able to make high 2.30s at some point.

    Kennedy looks like a supreme talent, ez sub 10s 100m speed , for all the countries like Jamaica that are supposedly genetically superior in regards to sprinting theres always one or two athletes that come from somewhere completely different to make a mockery of that popularity delusion, Kennedy looks like one of those. I really hope he can reach his potential!

    Lachlan Kennedy's 6.51 was not faster than Lyles 6.52. You mentioned the tail wind yourself! False info

    • @JumpmanTF
      @JumpmanTF  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Tail wind doesn't matter till its a white guy. Noah's 9.81 last year was the same as kishane 9.77 if we take into account wind readings. But kishane was still the sole world leader for a reason. Bite me.

    • @NoahWildlife
      @NoahWildlife 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @JumpmanTF are you saying the wind readings don't matter because Lachlan (as a white man) is getting compared to other black athletes?
