there's multiplayer, but the singleplayer doesn't feel too lonely. it's one of the best games I've played of the past few years, and it was the first tony hawk game ive played. u won't think it's lonely when u get ran over by a taxi twice in a row!!!
There is normally an iconic soundtrack with rock and hip hop playing, I'm assuming its turned off. Not sure what psychopath would play this without music.
Looks amazing, brings back great memories playing it on PS5. They should remastered Dave Mirra freestyle bmx next or have a new game with a current bmx champion
Dave Mira bmx 2 was so slept on! The controls are pretty bad tho haha. I definitely preferred it over thps tho.

One of the last tony hawk games, I think proving ground. There was an option to make the game more “realistic”.. not like skate but still good. It increased gravity so harder to land tricks. I thought that was cool. I think the tony hawk games could make a comeback if they reintroduced the realistic mode, especially since EA won’t make another skate

It’s unbelievable this game is when i was born in 90s So now the game video is amazing a lot but one thing that important for this game is the music from AC/DC’s very unique.🤘🏻
I don't know if anyone else noticed how good and crispy the board sounds are? As a producer, I guess it came naturally for me, but they're really impeccable. Especially the sounds of the wheels landing, but I don't know why are those ollies still so unrealisticly huge, they could make the air time longer, but easily jumping over another human is really way too high.
IMO underground and American wasteland were the peak of Tony hawk games

Only speaking for myself, but as a skater, I prefer the realistic games these days. Give me a more skateboard feeling. This was cool when it was all we had, but no one asked for this game :p Skater XL and skate 3 and session are dominating currently, and most of us are still waiting on skate 4. I dont see myself ever buying this game. Would rather just play the old ones

I think it tries to capture some physics of the old thps. Sure they can make a more realistic skate game with today's technology, but it would take away the feeling and the experience of playing the old thps

i also wished they did a REmake of Tony Hawks Underground. That game was soo cool, it was like an RPG skate board game haha. Like you would skate on certain levels and gain stat points to put in your character. I thought it was so neat

Those "unrealistic" physics and the "combo gameplay" inspired a lot of trick lines of many skaters around the world. They seemed impossible to do. It is not a simulator, if u wanna get realistic skating then go skate in real life or play xl/session or whatever people. That's it

I wonder if all those who complain about the unrealistic physics have ever played or seen a Tony Hawk game before... They were always arcady and never realistic, that's what Skate/XL/Session are for. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy THPS1+2 but it's super fun, especially since they made it so you can complete the tours with every character instead of just once. The speed run option is cool too, another reason to keep playing it.
