Now that you have gotten a taste of Dimash, how does he compare to Mariah Carey and the late Whitney Houston who both are phenomenal singers? I think you answered it best, Dimash is in a category all his own. Much respect to arguably two of the greatest female artists of all time, MC and WH, however I do believe you have great, phenomenal singers, then you have Dimash. Everyone has their songs you should do next and no matter which one you pick, it’s fire. Try “Your Love”, more 🔥🔥🔥.
Even though he's in his own category; most likely by himself, for now......but I think he is the best vocalist in the entertainment business.
@@josephalbrecht434 I agree, to me Dimash is the best current vocalist but it’s possible in time that someone will come along and blow us away again. It’s gonna take someone really special because Dimash is the complete package, he draws you in not only with amazing jaw dropping vocals but also with an incredible stage presence, he tells a story with his body language alone, he makes you feel the emotions with his whole performance. Dimash seems incredibly humble as well.

This bowl-neck lute played with a bow is is an old Turkic stringed instrument and called Kobys or Kylkobyz in Kazakhstan. The Kyrgyz variant, for example, is called the kyl-kyyak.
The Kobys is the oldest string instrument in the world and, according to a German scientist, it spread beyond the borders of the nomadic area of Central Asia and became the prototype of all European string instruments.
(Turkic means: The Turkic peoples are a collection of ethnic groups from Central, East, North and West Asia as well as parts of Europe and North Africa who speak Turkic languages.)
A legend about Kobyz says that this instrument was created by the great steppe narrator Korkyt-Ata, who lived in the 10th century and that the tool is charged with magical and even mystical properties and sounds like animal voices. In addition, the Kazakh people believed that the spirits of their ancestors spoke to them through this music.
The old outlook and piety towards their instruments and music was constantly preserved in traditional Kazakh society and ensured the highest spiritual level of musical art and a special respectful attitude towards musical instruments. Simple people, for example, did not dare to touch the shaman's Kobyz. It is said: The balance between the courses of life and death on earth can be maintained by playing the Kobyz

And Dimash said also in an interview about the collaboration with Igor Krutoy that it is important to him that the songs are written in such a way that there is room for variations ... so every performance of a song is a surprise and every Dear can choose his favorite presentation... I can not decide.

That's because this version wasn't live. The one on Shine Brothers was, for the most part, and you can tell at the end he can't hold the note as long th-cam.com/video/SDpqt2nu-ek/w-d-xo.html Brilliant nonetheless.
@Jaye Gunn - I believe Dimash was not well when singing Stranger on the Shine show and went to hospital immediately after his performance. He definitely wasn’t on his game, however, he still performed better than 99% of singers. How do you know this Stranger wasn’t live - I thought every performance at Slavic Bazaar was live??!
@@diarchos5019 Simply by using your eyes, ears and logic. The tell tale difference between the lip synched and (mostly)live version is that in the Slavic Bazaar version there is simply not enough time between the lines to take a breath, not even for Dimash. In the live version you can hear he cuts some of the lines short because, although he can hold notes for tens of seconds, it is a different story when you have to sing lines back to back consisting of more notes. I believe he does 4 or 5 lines back to back and it's just impossible, even for Dimash, to do that on one breath. In the live version he cuts those lines short because he needs to take breaths. Also, in the lip synched version he falls to his knees on the very last, ultra long, note and there's no difference in the sound of the note. Yet, in the live version he gets down on his knees at the beginning of the note and it slowly gets less full towards the end because he runs out of air, resulting in a note that is only slightly shorter than on the lip synched version, but a bit softer at the end. Dimash is the best singer at the moment, but he is still a human being. Claiming he was not well whenever his vocals don't seem to be as perfect as usual, in my opinion, puts (too) much pressure on him (and his golden vocal chords). In most cases, if he sounds a bit less than on previous versions, it most probably is because those previous version were not (100%) live.

Next check out Olimpico from Igor Krutoy’s page. Igor wrote the song specifically for Dimashs’s wide vocal range and I don’t think anyone else could come close to singing it. It’s completely operatic, dramatic and epic. Pure Dimash.

Igor Krutoy is a famous composer who went to see Dimash when he performed Sinful Passion with A Studio. He was the guy in the white shirt that gave a standing ovation when Dimash finished. He came out of retirement to work with Dimash & he wrote Stranger for Dimash & has written & co-written with Dimash lots more too. I don't know if you've been told but Dimash has a 7 octave range to his voice which is crazy! He is also a multi instrumentalist. Once again I loved your reaction on this so thanks a lot 👍👏

This should be a theme song to a movie or series of a modern day playboy who is very narcissistic and hurts people along his path. One day wakes up in a strange and ancient land where as a stranger from another time, he has many trials and tribulations only to find his worth and becomes a martial arts master/warrior and fights for his country and Emperor. And finds his beloved who takes and breaks his heart. But he perseveres to be with her and win her love and learns what sacrifice is all about. But that's me! lol
BTW, I have been in the music arena most my life, have sung myself and have known/loved many amazing singers; MJ, Bruno, etc but to me, Dimash has surpassed all of them and has become the best singer in the world!
