What is a chipboard? where do you get them?
Beth Parish It’s like a piece of wood you can get it at a craft store in the Cricut section. Sometimes they don’t have it at my stores they don’t stock a lot of it.
Chipboard is a pressed paperboard (non-corrugated cardboard). It’s basically a heavy weight cardboard.
You could use the cardboard from the back of the tablet instead

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but after you're done with the notebook, you can cut the cover off and they make great bookmarks! ( if you make them without the ribbons and stuff:) Great video!
First of all, your hands are so beautiful, and I love everything about your presentation! Just a suggestion to anyone who wants to make LOTS of these adorable notebooks, your local print shop has a hydraulic paper cutter that can chop a few thousand sheets at a time. When I worked at a print shop, we made notepads for sale with some of my original silly drawings along with plain ones. That's how we got rid of our extra paper, and they were always good sellers. Especially the ones with recycled paper, everybody loved those and they came in pretty colors and interesting textures.

Thank you, for giving me such fabulous ideas, I have so much material but it is saved, and 3 months ago I had surgery on my wrist, I fell and broke it, they had to do surgery and put a piece of metal on me, so that I could have mobility again, i'm recovering slowly so i can't get the heavy boxes with the materials out, i had to buy materials, i live alone, i don't have anyone to help me with those boxes, but i'm amazed with your channel, i love how you teach, i'm so thankful for having found you, blessings I am writing to you from Bramptom Ontario Canada but I am Chilean I have lived here for 36 years, take care of yourself

I'm loving this idea to pieces and have already shared with my paper craft group.
This adds a bit to the cost, but I took my notepads to our local FedEx and they cut four notepads and six small legal pads down the middle for me for $4.00 total. Saved my hands (I have some arthritis). Not every FedEx has this service, but that was low enough for me that it doesn't add too much to the overall cost. You might find it even less expensive at other types of copy services. Just a thought! LOVE LOVE LOVE these. I'm making several for sale - some for Christmas, some fall, and some for teachers. I never thought I would be interested in crafting paper pads. Then I randomly found this video. BRB, going to the buy all the pads at DT.
This a great idea. I'm trying to find small cute ideas for raffles for our ministry. We belong to a motorcycle ministry, and we hold rides to raise money for sick children or adults .Also, people who have experienced tragedies like fires, etc.
A set of these would be great . I purchased a couple of motorcycle paperpads with stickers, so I think I can do this one❤

Another cool thing to use for the cutouts would be Christmas cards from the previous Christmas! I try to recycle them anyway I can because some are just too beautiful to toss. Thanks for the video ☺️

Also on the skinny pads you could make a belly band that has a pen holder attached by making the belly band piece a bit longer and looping it around to hold a pen. I would try a red pen in keeping with the color scheme😊

In the past, I had taken my Dollar Tree pads to Office Depot to have them cut them down -- but they always had a bevel at the cut. Perhaps I need to give doing it this way a try! :) TFS!!
