You're so clever. These are fantastic. The way you finished it solved a problem I had with a vintage box with a broken lid. It was an inexpensive jewelry box made from a card stock and hinged with paper. Over the years the hinge cracked and broke. I'm going to add a sturdy tape to the inside and outside and cover it with corresponding paper and decorate the same way you finish the tops of your pads. Thanks!

Great idea. I also have my paper stash that includes calendars from giving annual donations. I cover things, make envelopes, etc. I just can not bear to toss, even the used ones, no one is the wiser that they have been used. Envelopes get lined so the calendar part is not seen. Hi Sherry I enjoy all the tutorials. I use padding compound glue for my paper joins it dries clear and sheets are removed easily.
