I have been fishing in a roundabout for 3 years now. Catch a ton of fish in it. I have a converted jet ski trailer for mine. I recommend a spare battery even its just a cheap lawn mower battery to get you to shore. I get a lot of laughs a lot of comments but I'll guarantee you I get more fish in my little round boat than most people in there $50k high powered bass boats. It's not what you've got that matters, it's what you do with it.
I have a 8ft. Coleman that fits right in the back of my Dodge with the electric motor and you gave me a great idea using a hand truck when there is no boat ramps and you have to carry it a long way Thanks great video again!!
I'm sold, I am a yak fisherman, and been doing it for years my set up is efficient for me, but I HATE the limited range of motion on my yak, and I am too clumzy to stand up on my yak... so I rarely do. I dont like the idea of a 10k boat, that is a lot of work to take out when its JUST me so This looks like a winner for me. Thanks for the review!
I have an Ultraskiff 360 and love it for places I can't take my Nitro Z19. The skiff can be rolled on its side to most places or dolly. I bought a trailer from harbor freight for it also. I love it for under 10hp lakes , coves, creeks etc.
I was at Cabelas a couple of weeks ago and seen that boat I laughed and thought no one would ever buy it but of course you got it! Watching the video it seems to be pretty awesome! I think because it was inside the store on the floor it just looked weird but seeing you in it I think it's cool

But can't role it to the water so yeah I'm gearing for the roundabout just need more money. Which I'll prob need two one for my daughter or for a friend I fish with. SawGrassBassin man Everytime I see a vidoe of this boat I want to cry. The man that stole my starter off my bass boat he won't give it back he's in his 70s his wife's not good she's in the hospital so don't want to call cops been since July 10 months ago. So guess I'll sell my ranger for cheap maybe enought to get a round about if I can get for about 1500 I'll lose 1500 dollars that I spend but it's set for year now without running. Well 2 years since I boat never got to go out keep running till I loaned my starter to a man across the street. He traded me a RV that's broke down since July also yea bad luck. But my pontoon starter locked up I felt bad said he can use to show the pontoon runs great. Well he never gave back just hurts I keep helping people and get burnt. But I just want a smaller boat and this roundabout perfect for me being of my disibilty. But each time I watxh you I want to cry cause I want to go fishing. It’s much better for bass fishing techniques like flipping and pitching as well as walking baits and jerkbaits etc. the uktraskiff was very difficult to stand up with the inward angled deck. The roundabout also tracked and maneuvered better when I tested them both out
I have decided to purchase a Roundabout: I like the flat deck and the variety of packages that seem more consumer-friendly and cost-efficient than competitors such as Ultraskiff. And Todd Foucher has been excellent in answering my questions....... Just curious: Can you share with me why you went with a Roundabout versus an Ultraskiff?
Love your enthusiasm! I am getting a Roundabout. Just curious....I will need to transport the boat via a car-top carrier of some sort. Do you have any suggestions as to what make or model of car top carrier would be best for a Roundabout?
I saw the Omg 4k comment below. They got it at near $1k for the boat only and really that's all that's needed. Not bad. I could make my own canopy. But maybe just a hat is good enough. You know, start wanting this and that. I was kind of curious if your ever gonna take it out at night, that might be a bit much for the gator scene... I don't know...The gator might spin you around like a buffet wheel.
We now have an umbrella system we are coming out with. It will attach to the bottom of the seat and swivel with the seat. You can still fish out of the boat when you have the umbrella out!
With 55lb thrust Minn on it and whatever battery your using , could you give me an idea of how long you could cruise around a lake an fish without worrying of dying ? Have you ever had it completely charged and ran it out? I'm truly thinking about one of these I'm just trying to figure out almost to a T how long you could fish with one battery on a lake or pond with normal driving and fishing ? Good informative video; however, I am disappointed in one thing. In one of your other videos, you said that the highest rating you give anything is a 9.5 because nothing is perfect. Are you now saying that the Roundaboat is perfect and no improvements can be made?! I hope we don’t see any upgrades or changes on this boat!! Just kidding. Keep up the good work.
I’ve seen the videos on this boat, fun ride, but not one landing a fish, & storing it on the boat. No coolers , no ice. I’d like to see a successful fishing trip, & unloading the fish. Seems like a person would like cold drinks, & snacks, on a day on the water. Till then, not overly impressed, yet!
