nxtagxin Thats exactly where his powers awakened, because before he had the teachings of kenny so he knew how to handle a knife, but after he saw Farlan and Isabel die, something he loved/cared for dearly was gone, he went into rage mode and showed no mercy to that abnormal titan, in the manga however, it wasn’t a huge abnormal that killed them it was a group of titans, and Levi was there to see them die. Like Mikasa who had her power awakened when killing those people who killed her parents she had a trigger.

Don't put it that way like dogs and their owners, I think the ackerbond is very beautiful because all ackermans actually can make the decision on who they wish to follow, so its actually much more than just a blind bond. If it was that type of bond, Erwin would have been the one who is still alive today. Levi wouldn't have hesitated at all. Levi's emotions overcame his acker-instincts to want to have Erwin alive and allow him to rest instead. Also, because an ackerman is way more powerful when they have their liege.

I do think that Mikasa's personality is a bit flat, which is probably the result of lazy writing. All the Ackermans have a "host", but Levi and Kenny still have more personality outside of being a permanent bodyguard.
Mikasa is either a mother hen or a badass, with one or two sappy moments. I do hope they develop her more, both in the manga and in the anime.

There is an OVA about Levis backstory (when he was in his teenage/young adult years). It shows how he lived in the underground with two friends and how he and his friends (were forced to) join the Survey Corps. It also contains the very important moment of the awakening of his "Ackermann-Power". The OVA is called: A Choice with No Regrets: Part One
I get why Levi is a fan favorite, but Kenny walks and talks like a cowboy in 2019. And is still a badass. He may have been killing the MPs because they wear jackets that show off their midriff with a unicorn on the back and miniskirts.
To Levi's credit, somehow I never associated him with jeans.
Had a huge impact on the story, yoinked that injection from Rod, gave Eren a chance to fight back if he wanted, showed Historia what an arse Rod is, could have not listened to Rod and stole Erens titan powers, but passed it to Levi, giving him the choice to eventually save Erwin or Armin. Helped shape Levi, without Kenny there may not even be a Levi.
Well AoT needed a family of badasses as someone has to always save a certain other someone's ass. Well jokes aside, the Titan Science that led to the Ackerman family is possibly experiments that tried to make non-subjects of Ymir into Titans and we got them.
My favorite character is Mikasa Uch- I mean Ackerman

I just remember this detail after re-watching all 3 seasons of AoT, the word of “Ackerman” is similar in pronunciation with “Akuma” in Japanese (or Hizuru language in AoT), which means Devil. It’s possible one of Fritz Kings had named the clan with that meaning, considering their bond with Hizuru and the series’ Japanese creator. I took a notice of this after hearing the word “akuma” from a press discussing with Hange and Levi in ep 59, and it reminded me the time when Porco was frightened that he called Levi and Mikasa Ackerman as “true devils”.

Have you guys noticed that most of the badass clans have this "awakening" thing in common?Like they have to go through something traumatic to awaken their true power(Like the Ackerman family/clan and the Uchiha clan). It's probably due the fact that pain changes people and makes them stronger.So yeah,you can compare this two clans,they do have similarities.

Perhaps Levi awakened his power after witnessing the death of Furlan and Isabel, since after seeing his friends corpses, (or whats left of them) he rains all hell and terror down on that titan.

I'm way too shy to submit something like this, I'm told I'm really talented with art I don't like competition . It intimidates me. :( but maybe this can be some ideas people can use to spark some ideas.
Ideas:
1. A Titan who can make chimeras and able to control them.
2.) Maybe a more angelic looking Titan, maybe female, who can sprout wings and fly and has very fast ability and has an Ariel advantage when fighting.
3. Maybe able to control the weather to their advantage?
4. Ability to use swords or bow and arrows
5. I'm not sure about this one but maybe one could be able to Swim or do something with water. Maybe it could summon storms, monsoons , huge waves, drowning people. Not sure.
These are some ideas I thought of maybe people can use to spark their imagination or something.
Erin Phoenix Number 4 is basicaly the warhammer titan, in chapter 102 it made a crosbow, whip and hammer.

2. While there is no flying titan (that would be cool tho) there is the cart titan which is like the same thing but on the ground
3. A weather titan? So basically like storm from X-men? Could be cool but idk about that
4. Warhammer titan which is currently in possession of eren and he says he can use its powers (even tho we haven’t seen it yet)
5. A sea titan would be pretty cool, but there probably won’t be any sea battles soon since armin kinda nuked the entire marlyean navy

Mine that never made it was a person who followed Eldia’s ideology for a while. His name was Ramirez and he had the ability of a Titan that was supposed to protect humanity from titan wars, but was long forgotten until a abnormal Titan syrum was given to Ramirez. He got it, and instantly turned into the Protectorate Titan. It was like the war hammer Titan but can summon a sword and a shield. (They would break easily though, with about 5 punches or 4 hits) Ramirez would then give it to his son Adrian. He wouldn’t even know until he got bitten by the same Titan that ate his girl. He then raged and killed the titans in the area. Adrian and Eren would then lead to a Eldian civil war. I wish I won :(
