Which actually makes you wonder just how 'inaccurate' those interpretations were doesn't it? Maybe the positions adopted were multivariate or between the two at times? Excepting those that needed water for support etc. Remembering atmosphere was different then and consequently oxygen provision to muscles and respiratory/cardiovascular physiology may have differed to contemporary avian etc species.
@@rickh3714 As a dinosaur lover, that's a lot to answer, one year ago i had the biology and paleontology knowledge to properly answer you but now i only remember they showed the upright inaccurate T. rex with a very flexible (almost prehensile) tail always touching the ground because they based themselves off Kangoroos and they thought large Theropods needed that posture to look intimidating and hold their weight vertically like us, turns out many years later that T. rex has feathers on a portion of his back, his tail was pretty rigid and couldn't even be used during fights, his "small" arms could lift a cow each, they didn't roar at all and they wouldn't waste energy chasing us down to eat us... The world of dinosaurs has always been a magical and awesome world we all liked at least once in our childhoods, and it has changed a lot since the 1998 Godzilla and Jurassic Park movies, now it's just more scientific than ever and i still love it bro Edit: also the T. rex and other large theropods had lips like Komodo Dragons

Also T. rexes had better senses, especially eyesight and smell, than Bald Eagles today, so they have a much better eyesight than us!
Omg, so PRECIOUS! Wonder if he tripods and uses his arms, claws, neck and chin to open interior doors so he can climb into the bed and snuggle under the covers with you? My Sav monitor and best friend for many many years would do that. One time I wasn't home in bed so he trotted across the hall opened mom's bedroom door and settled for napping with her... Miss that crazy beast.
