I’m determined to decluttering my Christmas decorations. I’m 71, and I’m probably not going to have more energy for lugging in 10 totes full of stuff and taking three to five days to get everything displayed in future years. My goal is to get it down to 4 small easily carried totes. That way, I think I’ll look forward to the holidays instead of dreading the work ahead😊 Good video, thanks!
@@gailwhite8796 Thank you for commenting! That’s exactly what happened to me! I always look forward to Christmas, but all the totes of decor was wearing on me. So last year, after Christmas, I did exactly what you’re planning to do. Fast forward to this year…it was a breeze to put stuff up and every single thing was something I truly enjoyed and valued. Next year, you’ll be happy you did this. If you question anything, maybe keep that stuff in a separate bin and see how you feel when you get everything out next time around. 🎄💕🌸 All the best, Bren
@ PERFECT! That fits your space and won’t be overwhelming. So good you recognized your place’s limitations and didn’t try to fit more! Happy for you! Great series! We'll be decluttering when we get back, so we'll be rewatching these. We'd also love to see a video on how you sell your items on eBay. Happy Holidays!
@@EverywhereWeDreamedOfGoing Happy Holidays! So glad this series has inspired you to declutter. You’ll be so happy you did! Everything feels so refreshed. I will absolutely do a video on how to sell on eBay very soon! Thanks so much for the suggestion. In the meantime, I’m hoping my deep cleaning video will be out on Sunday. Fingers crossed!! I’d love it if you watched it. All the best, Bren 🌸💕
I decluttered my spring form pan years ago and haven't missed it since. This video also makes me think I might need to declutter my bundt pan, which I haven't used in years either.
@@antiquesrestoration3874 It’s so funny you say that, because this is the 2nd time I’ve decluttered a Bundt pan. I always imagine myself using it (I think they’re such a pretty cake shape) but the reality is that I just don’t bake that way. 😂 Hope you get to watch the first 3 videos in this series. I hope you’re subscribed, because I’m going to be posting an after Christmas cleaning, decluttering and organizing long video (hopefully Sunday) soon & if you subscribe, you’ll get notified. Thank you for sharing! Reminds me I’m not alone in my baking supply decisions. All the best, Bren 🌸💕
You hit a nerve with the linen section. I have so many quilts and table linens. I have napkins that are brand new that we haven’t even used yet and one set that I forgot I bought. Time to reflect, for sure. Thanks for the reminder. Great tips in this video but I choose to ignore the Bundt pan section since I have a whole kitchen shelf of Nordicware Bundt pans in every size imaginable and I’m not ready to admit that it’s excessive since I still want to buy the skull and bunny pans. 😊 small steps.
@@twonder4 I love it! Good for you on ignoring the Bundt pan section. I don’t think you should get rid of any of those! And if you want to add the skull and bunny pan, you should because those are items you enjoy and use. That’s really what it’s all about. Balance. But you’re totally right to part ways with the napkins that are brand new and never used…you probably will never use them. Get rid of those and make room for the Bundt pan collection. 🥰 All the best, Bren 🌸💕
PP’s 😂😂 I think we all spent too much on online shopping during that time! You have my brain spinning about the duvet covers and linens, blankets are one of my weaknesses and I have SO MANY! You’ve inspired me to go through those and only keep the ones I absolutely love!
@@Shareebysea GOOD FOR YOU!!! I still need to go through more, believe it or not, so I’m right there with you. At least the ones with stains, holes etc are easiest to get rid of. I ran across this video on my feed, and I have to say thank you. I'm always one who declutters something random when I watch decluttering videos. I'm a Dungeons and Dragons player, and recently got a figure custom made. It was 3D printed by a friend. It was very kind of them to do it for me. However, for the second time, a figure from the site has broken on me. This is the second design that has failed to withstand a set of dice hitting it. I decided to declutter it while watching this, since I know from experience that they are too fragile for my storing habits. I have a huge amount of indestructible knockoff figures, so I'll just be using them from now on. I may be stuck with mostly half warthog figures, but I'll be saving money and clutter by not purchasing more things I know will break.
