I don't think it's such a big deal to use expensive things if you have money for it. today I bought a 2.50 euros lipstick and seriously there is a huge difference between 2.50 euros lipstick and a... chanel lipstick for example. The only not expensive makeup I used is the maybelline mascara (=AMAZING). I realy don't like to spend a lot of money for make up, but I have to admit, that not all, but the most of expensive makeup products are worth it. So it's ok to use expensive things if you can afford it.
