I have ordered Icons from Catholic companies before, but i would like to try out this website. Is a Catholic allowed to own icons blessed by a Greek Orthodox priest? ( I am Latin rite Catholic, but my family are more influenced by Byzantine Rite, despite speaking Latin and attending Latin mass and church. Its odd.)

However, I’ve seen Catholics with these icons from Legacy albeit there are also many faithful Catholics who go on pilgrimage or vacation in areas as well with orthodox majority and I’m sure you’ll find Catholic or Protestant acquire an icon along their travels.
Yes, this one just has a gold color. I do have an icon made of silver that cost me a lot when I went to the Vatican. By far my nicest icon I have . Ill show that one sometime

This catastrophe of the Byzantine Empires fall lead to Western Christians needing to find new trade routes. This promulgated to the discovery of the Americas and how every single one of our ancestors, whether through the good, bad or ugly led to use being here today. God is Good and he works in mysterious ways!

Its not real gold tho right? Most icons use real gold but it seems they just print everything
