    I am a beginner and I so much appreciate the slow Italian. It’s frustrating and impossible to try to listen and learn when other videos go so fast. Also please don’t stop the Italian words on top and English translation underneath. There are so many words I do not know and you make it easy to glance down pick up the word and not get behind. Thank you! Do more slower Italian! Love it!

    I really enjoy your videos...they are so helpful in learning! The “how to make Italian coffee” has been a great introduction to Italian life and a great conversation starter with Italians! One video that would be super helpful...what a typical day of an Italian looks like. How do you make a lunch last 2 hours? What do you eat for dinner (it looks like pasta, pizza, other big meals is usually for lunch?), if we eat at 19.00, what do you do after if you aren’t going to bed?? Thanks!

    Grazie mille! I got through 7 years of medical school in Italy, and I have an extensive vocabulary, although my kitchen Italian isn't that good. I've never picked up on proper, conversational Italian speech, which is what you are providing. Quando si deve fare un esame in fretta, Italian syntax was not importante, pero una traduzione da inglese al Italiano was. And so that is how my Italian came out. (I graduated from Padova, con laude!). I will be sitting through each and every one of you videos, taking notes, and repeating. My accent is obviously American, but not horribly so. I will be working on that too. I think I'm going to enjoy this. To those out there listening, try to remember, you have to crawl before you can walk. Italian is complicated. It is gender specific. Tenses are difficult. These ragazzi are throwing A LOT of information at you, despite the title "Super Easy". The words are easy, but they aren't identifying plurals, the articles that are changing. That will come. Just mimic the words, mimic the accent(!), and the word order. You are no longer speaking English, they are speaking simple but correct Italian, the word order is not ours! Best of luck, I'm going on to lesson 2!

    The word “cucina” itself might be a cognate for the English language. The word “kitchen” is based on an Old English word with a “c dolce” (as opposed to an actual soft c in Modern English). I think Middle and Modern English words that contain “ch” followed by “e” or “i” generally came from Old English words that had the soft c sound that Italian and Romanian maintain.

    Perché non può usare il sale fino per condire l'acqua della pasta?

    • @Robycesa78
      @Robycesa78 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Perché è difficile da dosare con un pugno - Because the sale fino is hard to measure it with a fist: you may inadvertently put too much. You might need a spoon. The gross salt is more consistent in the hand and you can make it right with little experience.

    • @Robycesa78
      @Robycesa78 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly. The metal container underneath welcomes the drops of water that drip from the dishes, which evaporate themselves and just leave fewer calcium deposit clues, to be scratched manually over time with appropriate solvents. Since they're pure water deposits, they're not deemed as "dirt"

    io imparo l'italiano perchè io amo l'opera. Potete fare qualche video dove leggete i libretti d'opera e spiegate i termini "antichi" che si trova solamente nei libretti d'opera?
