Good morning. Here in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR, we have the Cinerious Tit, a member of the Great Tit family. In and around the area where we live in the New Territories of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR, there is the Asian Koel. These birds are more often heard than seen, but they are notorious for their very loud calls, being the noisiest bird in Hong Kong. Both the MALE and FEMALE have different plumages with the MALE being pitch black with red eyes and yellowish-white beak, while the FEMALE is brown with white spots, also with red eyes. Both their calls are very different from each other and their calls can be heard from a mile away
I'm one of those East Coast folks who envies the grebes you guys have out West. They're probably my favorite wading birds. The St. Lucian parrot lives in some high elevation areas so that might be my favorite so far.
The only one I've seen is one that returns every year to a certain area in Gainesville, Florida, so some of them definitely travel far. Check the rare bird alerts and records of western tanagers in your area (if you haven't yet). You might be surprised by a chance to see one relatively locally.
HI! I'm hearing a western wood pewee, and on first listen, I thought a finch (the warble) and a towhee (the trill). But on second listen I concur with you and @greggillson388 - The trill was a junco - metallic, flat - and the warble was the vireo - garble-ly soft warble. Fun! Thanks!

Good morning! You have some amazing birds over there! Very interesting!
As for high altitude faves, here in Colorado I love finding Clark's Nutcrackers, Williamson's Sapsuckers, Golden Eagles, and Northern Goshawk.
Those are all amazing birds! I still need Williamson's Sapsucker and Northern Goshawk on my life list!

They're really cool birds! I definitely take them for granted!
I've never seen a western tanager, but they are a cool bird to find.
Sending you Western Tanager luck!
I got a Fujifilm FinePix S2950 😁 btw awesome video!
Congrats on the new camera! Thanks for watching the video!
Your song quiz sounded like warbling vireo, dark eyed junco, western wood pewee.
You nailed it!
I wish we had Western Tanagers in Minnesota. Maybe someday I will take a trip to an area that has them...
Sending you Western Tanager luck your way!

@@bopyranks I have seen a couple reports in Minnesota this year, but I wasn't able to look for either.
