I personally would like to see Western Electric as a power house USA manufacturer of all things electric/electronic. Television, washing machines, wiring, air conditioners, computers etc., etc. Let's make, "Made In USA" the best it can possibly be. Why not?

It’s a concept design , debuts new rAMT Mid-range driver 777, which is a higher bandwidth Heil air motion driver , it’s first showing of it , made by WESTERN ELECTRIC

This was not debut of the rAMT mid-driver. It’s been out for nearly a year. I believe it was introduced as prototype at Munich 2022.

I remember so long time ago spotted a CASE of JAN WE 300 tubes at a surplus store for a buck each. Now I am kicking myself for not buying the case of them. I think WE should just stick to electronics-NO APPLIANCES !

To me these sound a little dark and a little thick, but with lots of tonal color. You can hear the wood of the instruments. Not exactly my taste, but really full sounding.

I don't believe in the sweet spot. I can sit anywhere in the Silbatone or Phasemation rooms and I never want to leave. I am going back there tomorrow. WE are ok, not great.
