Good times man. Brings a tear to my listening. Reminiscing of all those times my grandparents took me and my brother to the cinema and heading this intro endless times during my childhood. Simpler times. Who would’ve thought I’d be listening to this again crying. Thanks so much for this upload
I’m 4 years late but I needed to reply i hope you do!! This is the truth! After the papapapapappapaaaaaaaaaa pa!!! That was it. Dead silence for 1 hour 45
I was in a cinema when pearl and dean came in, i was alone and they were talking about how they were going to construct their empire, they had just signed paperwork somewhere nearby, "how do we tell them who we are" well, pearl and dean, flute bongos an offbeat 15 second voice still sticks with us, 40 years later.
I really miss that tune in cinemas of Pearl and Dean it used to be advertised for a very long time it was such good music from it too I still wish it came back on
The old Tatton Cinema in Gatley this came on right after the red velvet curtains opened and the lights went down. Watched Godzilla in 1998 there ! Memories!!!
First time I see it was back in year of 2009 when I went to local cinema to watch Hotel For Dogs and Last time I see it again was last year in August from other local cinema in different town when I watch DC League of Super Pets . Which I've never heard it ever since to other movie theater.
It's just found what the name call and keep asking everybody "what it called again" or maybe put down cinema into. Same what I did. I've been it everything in my local cinema.
YES! THIS IS WHAT’S BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR 15 YEARS
Me too
Me three
Me four (maybe not 15 years tho lol)
Lmao same!

Love that bro
They don't have this in cinemas anymore. When I was a kid and this music came on I got more excited for the film.
I've still seen this in Vue cinemas - not Cineworld though.
I go reel cinema, I don't pay Vue prices
paulball same man
Still have this in Peckham plex!
I have it at my local one (only £2.50 a ticket). I ain't paying the prices for Cineworld or Vue.
I miss this version of the Pearl and Dean intro. I wish they’d bring it back because I always used to love seeing it in the cinema.
The nostalgia!
The best cinema presentation ever. Takes me back to my childhood. I used to sing a long not that it has lyrics but you know what I mean lol
That happy and exciting feeling before the film starts. :)
Agree
An iconic theme I have not heard in my local cinema in years unfortunately.
“Quiet Gary, it’s starting!”
Dah Dah Dah Daaaaah

You damn bloody right is the best bit. Oh yeah
I Still See This In My Local Cinema
I do see it every time in my local cinema.
This was usually better than the actual film that followed. Netflix should add an option to show this before every movie on the platform lol.

This was the old version back in 1996 and redesign in 2014. I don't like 2014 and I like this one better.

Good video.

My brother hates me for playing this full volume...
I don’t know why
Just lock your door and put your volume that loud so you can't hear his loud nosie and knocking your door. Smiling away and injoy the best sound.
Iv cooud have sworn that yhis was some sort of purfume ad
this sounds like macarthurs park.
well, they took this away, sadly, but well.. DCM seems to be the only people who took over to do the idents so there's that.
