Edit: Just in case anyone doesn't know the story already but is interested, the steamy outside pool at 09:45 does indeed have a steamy reputation. This is where Minister for War John Profumo first met model Christine Keeler in 1961 and began their affair. Christine was also conducting an affair with the Soviet Military Attache at the time. This was back when the UK had proper scandals....

My brother stayed there for his wedding night. The pictures of the bedroom looked kinda spooky 🤣 I didnt think it looks romantic. Did you find it spooky

Oh wow! That such a coincidence that you saw this. It was exactly a year ago we visited and was all decorated for Christmas. When we drove through the village it was lovely with all the lights up! X
