Nah not even close what paved the way for metal is not a band but the invention of the electric guitar itself this is what angers me people give all sorts of credit those earlier bands but no one ever gife any to whoever invented the instruments used in metal to the point that i cant even find the name of the creator/inventor face without the invention of the electric guitar metal would not exist and we'd still be listening to that classic violin crap
