Mars vs. Saturn on "Discipline" -~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ Let's clarify the word "Discipline" - and give it two senses. 1) The original, old, literal meaning of the word is to "be a disciple," which means to be a student and work towards mastering a goal. 2) The more recent usages of the word is simply to restrict behavior The first meaning of the word is purely the domain of Mars. The second is more the domain of Saturn. Mars is full of ambition, Saturn is devoid of ambition. So, if you have the ambition to achieve something, and work towards it very enthusiastically and with sharp focus and intent - you are truly "disciplined" (1st sense of the word). And you must have a blessed Mars for this. If you have no particular ambition but are simply highly aware of your boundaries and limits - I supposed people could describe you as being "disciplined." Or if you point out boundaries and limits to people, people could describe you as a "disciplinarian" - though this is sloppy language. This characteristic - observing and pointing out limits and boundaries, is Saturnian, not Martial.
I have a debilitating Mars in cancer 29 degrees ...but my Sadi sati just ended and I was the most ambitious person / competitive on my job ( Saturn was transiting my 6) I killed it at work ..I am very confused 🥺...I made more money / fame / acclaim in Sadi sati the last part of it though ...now it’s transiting 7 ...f ...screwed in partnerships ??

Much to meditate upon with this episode 🧐 Got me thinking about the BBC’s docuseries “The Planets” with Dr Brian Cox, (possibly the genX hybrid of Sagan and Attenborough 🤔). In watching this I learned that Saturn’s lightening is around 10,000 x more powerful than that of ours on Earth. So powerful it turns Methane into soot which rains down becoming diamonds 💎💎💎 under Saturn’s immense atmospheric pressure before liquefying. So why would you care for diamonds right? It also generates it’s heat/energy internally rather than externally, (through the Sun). So why would it care for or indeed be concerned with “fame” or the “spotlight”? It never ceases to astound me the ways in which the synchronicity of creation weaves itself through, reality and esoteric revelation, into our very consciousness. It truly is AWESOME in the original sense of the word! 🙌🏾🤩 Anyone else picture Eyore, the melancholic mule from Winnie the Pooh, with Vic’s description of Saturn? Just me? 🤓😅 Or perhaps professor Snape from Harry Potter? In any case this is possibly my favourite episode thus far Vic! Perhaps as a native with exalted Saturn conjunct asc ruler (Jupiter) in the 8th I’m biased 🪐 Regardless your offering on Saturn was simply sublime and yet strangely sanguine....🪐🙌🏾♥️🙏🏽 Nga mihi Vic

But again I feel we find all types of people on the internet. But I feel the best critics who are harsh but hard to debate are Saturn.
@@yashkevinsingh1975 Disclaimer...I'm only a student not a learned astrologer.
Saturn would seem to like "facts". "Facts" offer a solid foundation to build on. Also I can see Saturn being one who isn't easily swayed and like iron isn't easily bent. I wondered about Sun, Mars and ketu in reference to "Cancel Culture" cause Sun [doesn't have to be "negative" by the way] can be the one to remove the solidify with the purifying nature of Sun, Mars cause it desires that ideal to work towards so once there's a shift in the ideal then Mars will take the intiative to work towards it and Ketu from that perspective taking from or learning from the past.
@@jamesrmosbeyii1122 DUDE WOW, okay that actually gives a great perspective about all this, the things you said about the sun does make sense as it being the purifier. I'm a student as well so like I'm just talking with the knowledge I've collected. But I think both of us can agree that nobody can replace as saturn being a very good critic.
@@yashkevinsingh1975 I love coming together talking about this and trying to sort through this knowledge.
Maybe still Sun being critical while, listening to Vic DiCara, Saturn can maybe find and expose weaknesses. Similar outcome from a different approach?
So much misinformation on Saturn on other channels
Saturn is the archetypical emo kid.
LOL I have 7th lord in the 1st | Leo ascendant (Pushya) with Saturn in conj (aslesha NAK 🪐) yep, that’s what it is 0uch!
