Good ranking man! 10,000 Days was my first Tool album so it has a nostalgic connection with me that’s never left! My overall ranking would be.. 1. Lateralus 2. 10,000 Days 3. Aenima 4. Fear Inoculum 5. Undertow 6. Opiate(if you would count it) This ranking can change cause their albums are all great! Such a rock solid discography
Great ranking video, Zach. Saw them this week 2 nights in a row. I went with a friend who wanted to go twice. Absolutely awesome band. Great live. If you get the opportunity, go see them. I’ll just say my favourite album is Ænima as well.
I remember when I first heard Tool when I was younger my sister had Lateralus and Aenima on burned CDs and I didn't know much bout music@ the time but loved both albums
My favorite albums from them are '10 000 Days', 'Aenima' & 'Lateralus'. I still haven't heard barely anything from 'Fear Inoculum' buts its on my list of things to do! Awesome ranking Zach Tool are just plain awesome!!
It took me forever to get into TOOL but I started out with there debut UNDERTOW I do agree they haven’t released a bad album but I listen to them every now and then I usually listen to TOOL when I’m on long car /plane rides or just if I got Absolutely nothing to do I’ll listen to an album from beginning to end an fall asleep and take a nap Undertow would have to be my favorite album it has a dark raw grungy sound to it and you know I love that 90’s grunge sound 🤘
Interesting ranking. I've only heard Undertow and Fear Inoculum so far, and I'd put those albums about on par with each other. Both quite good, although I wouldn't really call them anything more than that. I would like to check out the rest of the band's discography though!
I like your videos a lot man. Here’s my ranking as well 6. Opiate- I absolutely love Opiate and personally to me song-wise it’s very strong, the only reason it’s at the bottom is because of run time. If it weren’t for that it would be higher, I really enjoy it 5. Undertow- Album is great, as all of them are I just prefer the ones that come after this 4. Fear Inoculum- Kind of hurts to put it at 4 but I can’t justify putting it higher than the other 3, as much as I love it. Never understood the hate for this one 3. Lateralus- Might shock a few people. Yes THAT album is above this one. But I love Lateralus! Every song is fantastic. It just doesn’t resonate with me as much as the next one 2. 10,000 Days- Very strong album in my opinion. Great songs, all of them. Not much else to say besides I enjoy this one more than most 1. Ænima- No surprise here. It’s the most well structured album, and every song hits like a truck, even the slower ones.
