Gadget over kill - you will ignore most of this in a week. Your lack of use space is extreme. You are going to spend a lot of time just untangling and maintaining your toys and gimmicks. Too many screens and each will distract from each other. Not a work desk simply a show desk of little to no utility. Nightmare to keep clean and dust free. CLUTTER CLUTTER CLUTTER
Thank you for taking the time to view and comment. I have been using basically this same setup for my professional job since the beginning of COVID. The only thing that has changed is that I mounted the mini under the desk. I utilize two screens every single work day. The 43 inch display is only used on occasion or for album art and the occasional movie ( my desk chair reclines). I wrote an article about a cluttered office on my website years ago. It addresses all of your concerns, but I am still not saying the setup would work for everyone. I will link it in the show notes if you are curious why I would have a “ cluttered” setup. I may update the article for relevance to address your post directly since it actually contains most of the negative things I have read about the space over the years. Thanks again
I think its only overkill and cluttered if it begins to interfere with productivity. Everyone has a different level of what that clutter might be. If I'm having to spend any time mutiple times a day to find something or slow down becuase of distraction, then yes its to cluttered. But sometimes having a too clean and empty space can be bad too cause then you're stopping to go find things away from your desk. My at home work desk has more stuff and "toys" than my office desk, which is pretty barren, and I feel much more productive at my home desk.
@@angelize88exactly, I actually have less personal stuff in my work office that I visit once a week or so. I get much more done at home thanks to the larger screens and the fact that I rarely pick up my phone. I updated my “cluttered” article linked in show notes if anyone wants to read how I manage.😊
Nice setup.
Thank you!
