Reply to my own comment, wish I lived closer to you, my favorite wood to work with is walnut. But all spices you cut would be fine to work with. I live in Colorado and wood isn’t easy to find and when you do the price is very high.
Im liking the format. I think you're one of those TH-cam creators that has transcended their original content and subject matter and most people watch just because they like videos from you no matter what it contains.
I like the mixed stuff. I like the chickens, the veggies (when you grow some), the 'how to use a tool I never heard of', the lessons on how to edge timber, the rolling hills of Tennessee, Bruno's tractor rides, and the hatefulest cat on TH-cam - and all the rest of it. As we say over on this side of the pond, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. 😁
Enjoy seeing everything around the farm. The sawmill is a pleasure to watch too, seeing the chickens, cats and your garden when you have one is fun also. Thank you for sharing as much as you do Nathan.
Yep i really like this format Nathan, I’ve been watching you for five or six years now, and I’ve enjoyed the progression from just a sawyer to a sawyer/farmer. The big thing i noticed in this video was that whilst the rain is a bit of a pain in the butt, it does wonders for the look of your farm! Get the livestock onto the paddocks asap, they’ll love you for it. 👍🏻
I will add my voice to those who enjoy your videos just how you’ve been doing right along. That includes your explanations about not only what you’re doing but also why you’re doing it. I enjoy learning about your work. Even though I live up north, I also enjoy your delivery with a Southern touch. In these days of homogenization, the maintenance of our regional differences is a good thing IMHO. Thank you for sharing.
I don't comment much but I always watch. I really like your format because I really like seeing things around the farm. Sawmill content is great too but I like a bit of everything. Keep up the great work, Nathan!
I enjoy videos showing your entire operation. That is real life. Sawmilling is much more than sawing logs. It's the maintenance of your farm and mill. So there you have it: life from "Out of the Woods". You go, brother.
Yes! I love this channel not only for sawmill but even the more for showing your life outdoors! Chickens, blacksmithing, and all of that. I love your background music choices too. say, Nathan. Where do you get your tracks from? They really make me feel my childhood country roots! Could you please link to these tracks. A whole slice of life. Your scenery also. Such a rich life...
I have been watching you "show and tell" your life, and I will continue watching your channel because I'm watching someone that oves what he is doing. There aren't too many of your type around. (IMHO)
There's nothing wrong with your current format. So far I have been able to watch your videos from beginning to end without having to cut any short because it wasn't interesting. Keep on.
Been watching you about two years. Love the format…just show and tell what and why you are doing what you do. The more topics the better. I want to look and learn! Keep up the great work!
Those people never make mistakes, but they can troll you for it. Your weather is like ours here we say "If you don't like the weather now, just hang around for a minute i😊t"ll change."
I've watched your videos for some years and I think your format is better that just watching you cut up logs. Your farm, your travels, your son and who could forget your chickens. I vote to continue doing what you do.
Keep doing what your doing 👍 I like your content. Your various side projects and tips & tricks are interesting and informative. There are plenty of just sawing videos, which is fine, but the variety of your's is what makes them entertaining.
I like that you show us more than sawing wood. Although I really like the sawing too. I am not "in the wood business" so I like knowing about you too. Your son is such a nice guy, so he's interesting to me too. I'm a grandma. So your family is howlsome to me and knowing about you all is nice!! Thanks!!
Please keep the current format! I got hooked watching you cut black walnut and the mythical crotch logs. Now I love seeing your daily life in rural Tennessee. Thanks for opening up for all of us!
Nathan, you're doing just fine! You always seem to be growing with your content and I always look for your newest release every day. Thanks for your efforts!
As far as your videos go, I wouldn't change a thing. I find your videos very interesting, and you keep my curiosity up to what else is next. This; my friend, is why I see a new video, I look to see what you're up to now. Keep up the great work. It's paying off.
I like what you’re doing with the videos. I like the variety. Of course, as in everything, you can’t always please everyone. So make sure you do what you want to do and we will follow suit. Appreciate what you’re doing! Chuck
I enjoy learning and experiencing new things, so your channel is fantastic for my entertainment and education. I also like that you often share differing opinions, and your own values, and how you make decisions. In my opinion, you are doing a great job!
My only feedback on the videos is that there might be too much video of mowing. Other than that, I really like seeing more than the sawmill. It really rounds out the entire operation you're working on. It's impressive how much you do get done while videoing.
Sounds like the TH-cam warriors watching over you closely. Bless their ❤️ my backs aching watching those slabs fall off the LT70 platform. Looking forward to seeing your dad join you on Walnut part 2. Thanks for the morning coffee ☕️ early release 🤠🇺🇸
I appreciate your video content where there is more than one subject going on during the day, unless the work backs up. I grew up on a ranch in here Wyoming, about 90 miles north of Cheyenne along I-25. We always had more to do than time to do it and the work usually had some routine items and then the seasonal stuff. We raised cattle, hay, and wheat, raised chickens, geese, guineas, and peacocks. The wildlife consisted of elk, deer, antelope, turkeys, coyotes, and the occasional bear, moose, mountain lion, and not too smart hunters. laughing ..... We used horses to move cattle and check on water supplies, fences, etc., for the first 10 years and then my father let me get a Honda motor bike to do some of of the daily checks. Like I said, the work was diverse beyond the routine. Keep up the multi-flavor videos. I like 'em.
I enjoy watching all the different things you do, it gives people a realistic perspective of everything it takes to keep a business and homestead running.
I thoroughly enjoy your current format, so please stick with it. I've been subscribed for several years, but recently I am no longer receiving any kind of notifications. However, I always find your videos, but if you know why I'm not receiving notifications, please let me know how to fix the problem. I'm currently set to receive "All."
One of, and very important to me is your daily life being published. We see your son getting involved, your other duties are just as valid as your original perspective. That being the saw mill. You've grown to be loved for doing what you do. Please don't change the format. Look what happened to Yahoo. Google has not changed their front page. Please don't fix what don't need fixing. PS:- As chicken keepers ourselves, my wife has the upper hand. Those buggers sure do take the piss! It would be so good to see her at her work with the hens, anonymity respected. Your channel is by far my most loved.
I'm in Tasmania and love your videos. Don't change the format. Like watching your farm activities more than milling operations. Great watching, keep up the good work. Regards
Mr Nathan My son and I think you do a great job with your youtube videos. We hope you keep going, we love to see all what you do on your homestead. Good wishes from England!
My wife and I enjoy the personal content and family stuff. We have been watching your videos since March 2021 - and we mean EVERY ONE of your videos. We are in our late 60's - 68 & 69 - retired and came upon your channel via that Mike Morgan guy !! I grew up in southern Ohio near 2 sawmills that produced pallets and I remember listening to one of those sawmill that ofter ran all night. No doubt it was a circular sawmill, because I remember hearing the high pitch of the blade and then the slow down when it began to cut. Keep up the great work, Charlie & Louise in Central Ohio
Hello Nathan. I don't usually comment on your videos but I wanted to tell you that I enjoy them and find them very interesting. I like seeing all the different aspects of your life and what you do during your day. Thank you for all the effort that you put in to making these videos for us all to enjoy. Your editing skills are Hollywood level. Must be all that practice.
I watch all of your videos, I even go back in time and watch the old ones. I prefer the scenes off you working in your yard but I enjoy the ones of you cutting the logs. If you would change to only cutting logs I would rarely watch them.
Nathan as an Aussie from a farming background in previous generation I really enjoy your mixed format of farm, milling, garden mechanics and woodwork. Keep it up
I very much enjoy the blog style of your videos. Watching your videos, I can begin to imagine all the extra time it takes to position the cameras and capture the different shots, especially for a seemingly simple scene as going to the Napa store. Since I've never made a TH-cam video, I would like to suggest that one time you make a video about how much work and time is involved in shooting a video (or maybe just one scene in the video like mowing the acre on your other property). Anyway, thanks for what you do - I look forward to every early video release email from Patreon. Papa Doug Sigman
Nathan please don’t change a thing on your video’s. I think it’s interesting and enjoyable watching you do all the different chores around your property. I own 26 acres in the upper peninsula of Michigan and you inspire me to get chores done around my place. Keep up the good work
Don't change a thing. It's extremely relaxing to me to watch you do what you do. I wish I could do what you do. Up here in rhode Island, it isn't really the way of life. Even though I wish it was
Plan your week if you can and work out your jobs to do. Tell your scribers what you plan to do and content in the videos allowing for the weather to be on your side. You can add trips out to buy supplies and go into depth on why you get that brand or make, especially prices! Then do what you planned to do, and slip anything you have to do like putting out the new chick in the chicken house. Ask subscribers what they want specifically to know and you can choose what else to add to each video. Keep safe and good luck with the chicks and the weather.
Nathan, the format is great. Only thing I don't prefer is the preview intro's. I like to be surprised and it takes away from the adventure, IMHO. Really enjoy your videos!
I have been a huge fan of yours since about 2016. I'm not sure you could improve your video content much more. It is one of my favorite things to watch when it comes up in my feed. Please don't change a thing!
Nathan, your format is just excellent how it is. We enjoy watching these whilst having breakfast, and chat about aspects of them on and off till teatime. Just keep on keeping on mate.
I like all the different aspects of your farm/ business. It’s much more interesting. Just don’t for get why we all came to your channel, the saw mill. Thanks Nathen for all you techie work as well!
Sawmill tool I use every day: amzn.to/3W10auP

Im liking the format. I think you're one of those TH-cam creators that has transcended their original content and subject matter and most people watch just because they like videos from you no matter what it contains.
Your existing video format is just fine. I enjoy seeing all aspects of your work and life. I wouldn't change a thing.
Thanks 👍

Such a rich life...
Don't change a thing I personally enjoy everything you post keep up the good work.
I love the variety of the different tasks you do on your farm. Throwing it all in on one video, is awesome in my opinion.
our content mix is very good. I don't get bored with just one item. You have a beautiful homestead it is a pleasure to see all the work involved..
Keep on.
Love the format you have now. Enjoy seeing what goes on in your day.
Hi Nathan,
I think you have a good mix of activities on the channel. I suggest you keep doing what you are doing now. I always enjoy the videos.
I enjoy things just the way they are, a good variety all the time.
I like your current video format with the varied content. I especially like it when you're doing some building stuff.
It's all good, as long as I don't have to work helping you. I can sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and watch it all get done. 😊
Nice to have the right equipment to get the job done quickly. Great job of editing. The variation is excellent. Kinda like keeping up with a neighbor.
I've watched your videos for some years and I think your format is better that just watching you cut up logs. Your farm, your travels, your son and who could forget your chickens. I vote to continue doing what you do.
Your current format of mixed subjects is always interesting, thank you...
Keep doing what your doing 👍 I like your content. Your various side projects and tips & tricks are interesting and informative. There are plenty of just sawing videos, which is fine, but the variety of your's is what makes them entertaining.
You do an excellent job Nathan ! Love watching your videos !

Nathan, you're doing just fine! You always seem to be growing with your content and I always look for your newest release every day. Thanks for your efforts!

Hang in there friend! Your style is very entertaining as is !
I agree, your content makes the program more interesting and informative! Keep it going.
As far as your videos go, I wouldn't change a thing. I find your videos very interesting, and you keep my curiosity up to what else is next. This; my friend, is why I see a new video, I look to see what you're up to now. Keep up the great work. It's paying off.

Just keep up the good work I really enjoy what you are doing
Don't change a thing. Despite what some say, this northerner understands every word you say. 😁
I prefer when you are doing a lot of different things. Can’t wait until you start rearranging the new barn. Hello from Minnesota.
My only feedback on the videos is that there might be too much video of mowing. Other than that, I really like seeing more than the sawmill. It really rounds out the entire operation you're working on. It's impressive how much you do get done while videoing.

G'day Nathan, the mixed format is fine, it shows what a day is like for you on your property, which I find very interesting.
I am not a sawyer but I tune in to see what you are up to. Live vicariously through you.
Well, I'm still watching it so I guess that means I like it.
Don’t change a thing. I really enjoy seeing the day to day operation of your farm. I get a kick out of you talking to your animals.
The old saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Like it like it is. Good job.

Keep doing what you're doing.
love the variety
I'm in Tasmania and love your videos. Don't change the format. Like watching your farm activities more than milling operations.

Ong time subscriber . If it ain't broke , don't fix it. Love the channel Nathan.
Like the "day in the life" format. Gives some context to your overall operation.
I like to watch your everyday life . Keep up the great content!!

Like many of your subscribers I thoroughly enjoy your content just the way it is. Not a big fan of the live streams but love your videos Nathan!
Format 20:40 is just fine. I enjoy your videos
Nathan, the format is great. Only thing I don't prefer is the preview intro's. I like to be surprised and it takes away from the adventure, IMHO. Really enjoy your videos!
Not being a sawmill operator, I enjoy the departure from the logs to the other machinery. Steady as she goes……
Do not change a thing. Love to see the whole story.
Do want you do. That’s why your channel is successful. You do you… and the channel is better for it.
I personally love the "full view" format. 😃
That new mower is great. It does a good job of moving up and down with the undulations of the land and leaves a nice clean cut.
I have been a huge fan of yours since about 2016. I'm not sure you could improve your video content much more. It is one of my favorite things to watch when it comes up in my feed. Please don't change a thing!
Nathan, I like your entire content, you do a fine job, keep it up.
I would not change a thing with your format. I enjoy seeing all of the various work you do homesteading
I like the format you’re using showing your daily routine - saw milling is informative and helpful don’t change anything
Thanks 👍
Nathan, your format is just excellent how it is. We enjoy watching these whilst having breakfast, and chat about aspects of them on and off till teatime. Just keep on keeping on mate.
I like all the different aspects of your farm/ business. It’s much more interesting. Just don’t for get why we all came to your channel, the saw mill. Thanks Nathen for all you techie work as well!
