Yes, my husband and I semi woke up during the lockdowns too. We just went into a temporary dissolution phase until I started to do research on the internet and fully woke up. Glad for all of us who covid served a purpose for in a beneficial way.
Another preaching angle the Elders and the GB might be interested in would be mental disorders. They should cite some health article that states that keeping busy actually prevents dementia, and connect that to spirituality, "our spiritual health degrades if we do not stick to the rules every second, we must keep chugging Jehovah's spiritual medicine."
I left in 2019 after coming across the video "Identity crisis" from Passion for truth Ministries and I never looked back. I had already taken some "time out" for a month which had refreshed me tremendously. During this time I watched videos that illicited new questions that the JW online library couldn’t answer. Like Jesus told the sons of thunder when others outside their group were preaching Jesus. He sort of said to leave them alone because they were joining in with what they recognized as a good thing to do. Exposing unrighteousness is what Jesus did. We appreciate help from non members too or those who never joined. I wish the beast would join in too. I mean the superior authorities. The government, not the GB. At least the Bible says the government was placed there by God.
