Thank you for this teaching. Thank you Jesus. Dear Jesus please help me with the fear and worry I am dealing with. I know I will make it through this hard time with your guidance. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic and non verbal. I’m so overwhelmed at times. My husband passed away years ago. So I’m all alone. I have no family to lean on. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing but not make nearly enough. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two children. I’m constantly in fear of losing our home. To even think about being on the streets with two young children is terrifying. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide. HE HAS THIS FAR! I have been put down mocked and harassed even accused of lying. These are all tricks from the enemy. I’m already ashamed and embarrassed over my situation. I don’t want anything but prayers. Please pray for me.

My former pastor in Detroit, Bishop Keith butler recently told his church " It wasn't enough for Jesus to die on the cross, he had to do more " , Butler erroneously preaches that Satan snatched Jesus soul off the cross and took him straight to hell to be beaten and tortured, humiliated and mocked by the devil and demons .Butler wrongly thinks Jesus paid for our sins in hell not on the cross. This is false doctrine and needs to be repudiated!!!

Excellet interpretations! I think you're right. In Ephesians 4:9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? The parables of the rich man and Lazarus also states that Abraham was in hades waiting for Jesus.

    • @Sonofjesus21
      @Sonofjesus21 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

To grasp this you need to understand what is Hades?
Hades is the Greek term for the realm of the dead. It is a temporary place where souls go after death to await the final judgment. It has two distinct areas:

1-Paradise (or Abraham’s bosom): The place of comfort for the righteous.
2-Torment (or Gehenna-like punishment): The place of suffering for the unrighteous.
In the story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31), both the rich man and Lazarus are in Hades, but they are in different parts-Lazarus in Paradise (Abraham's bosom) and the rich man in torment.
When Jesus died, His soul went to Hades, specifically to the side of Paradise, where the righteous dead were waiting. This is why He could promise the thief on the cross that they would be together in Paradise.
The key to understanding this is realizing that Paradise is part of Hades. In biblical terms, Hades is the general term for the realm of the dead. and it includes both:
The place of comfort (Paradise) for the righteous, and The place of torment for the unrighteous. When Jesus told the thief, "Today you will be with Me in Paradise," He meant the side of Hades reserved for the righteous-the same place where Abraham, Moses, and the other faithful were waiting.
What Did Jesus Do in Hades?
After Jesus died and descended into Hades, He had a specific mission:
      a. He Proclaimed Victory
(1 Peter 3:18-19): Jesus proclaimed His victory to the "spirits in prison."
These could be fallen angels, as some interpret, or the souls of the unrighteous. This was not a message of salvation but a proclamation of His triumph over sin, death, and the powers of darkness.
      b. He Liberated the Righteous Dead
Before Jesus’ resurrection, the righteous dead (those who had faith in God before Jesus’ time) were in Paradise (a part of Hades), awaiting the completion of God’s plan of salvation.
When Jesus died and rose again, He "led captivity captive" (Ephesians 4:8), meaning He freed the souls of the righteous and brought them into the full presence of God in Heaven. (The new paradise)
After Jesus’ resurrection, Paradise was no longer in Hades. Instead, it is now understood as being in the direct presence of God in Heaven.
Paul writes in (2 Corinthians 5:8): "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
Believers who die now go directly to Paradise in Heaven, where they await the final resurrection and the New Heaven and New Earth.
      Praise God! 🥰😍

God did not reveal to us what Christ did after he was 12 yo up to 30 yo. We only know that he went with his mother and Joseph and submitted to them after the temple incident. There are some Mysteries of God that we just don't know.. but just imagine when John the Baptist was preaching and preparing the way of the Lord, Jesus was there just waiting knowing that it is Him!! Lol Maybe His neighbors even came to Him and was telling Him about the Anointed One to come to save mankind! It's a rather beautiful story! Praise the Lord God!!!

    Yes...nobody can answer this one.
One thing we do know is that he went to paradise, with the other fellow that was crucified.
As no man has ever been to heaven, we must conclude that paradise is where abraham and others wait, with a chasm between paradise and hades.
    Other than that...its all theories...

      @oussamaettaieb21 interesting analogy my friend.
However, Jesus also said that we will be " asleep in death" when the body dies.
That implies that " the dead know nothing at all, all their memory is forgotten" in ECCLESIASTES , must be a truth regarding the dead and hades.
Since the 2nd resurrection has not happened yet, and satan and his demons are still roaming the earth, and judgement day has not yet come, gehenna must also still be in the future to come.
      The bible cannot contradict itself.
Also....a " parable" can be told describing real characters in a story of fiction.
A parable cannot be understood to be a real event to have taken place.
That parable is an example of possibile future events, a WARNING to mankind.

The title question of this video is not aligned with the title question that Derek prince gives at the beginning of the video..
Your video title says "what happened when Jesus died and went to hades?"
The title question Derek prince gives in the Audi recording is, "what happened to the soul of Jesus when he died?"
He answers this question, however the answer to the question would be different if he answered according to your video title.
    What happened TO JESUS
    VS
    What happened WHEN JESUS
    Do you see the difference?
    The answers will be different
I suggest you change the video title to match that of the actual question presented in the audio recording.

      Praise God! 🥰😍

Andrew, you're the one missing the point, Jesus didn't preach a message for repentance to the lost in hell, the Greek word for preach is PROCLAMATION , Jesus went to the other side of Sheol, he powerfully proclaimed his triumph and victory over sin and death and he told them he will be their judge when the appropriate time comes.

The place of comfort (Paradise) for the righteous, and The place of torment for the unrighteous. When Jesus told the thief, "Today you will be with Me in Paradise," He meant the side of Hades reserved for the righteous-the same place where Abraham, Moses, and the other faithful were waiting.

"Strips of linen" sounds like pieces of linen--not a one-piece cloth. I've been saying to those who claim the Shroud of Turin is the cloth which was wrapped around Jesus from head to foot that it's impossible to believe, which they throw right back in my face. Nonetheless, the scriptures describe strips of linen wrapped around a body. Which is easier for a man to do, slip out from beneath a cloth like a blanket on a bed, or disappear from within strips of linen cloth wrapped tightly around him? Remember, Lazarus needed help loosening his bindings, as he couldn't do it himself. They saw Jesus' burial clothes lying there by themselves. They were intact, just as they were when wrapped around Jesus' body; they weren't undone by anyone. Simply put, Jesus disappeared from within them.

Just because the Bible says something, that doesn’t mean it is true or that it happened. There is no claim about Jesus’ resurrection that I have found even remotely compelling or convincing. Also, asserting where someone has gone after death is utter conjecture, especially given that the existence of a soul has never been demonstrated to be true.

      Praise God! 🥰😍
