So the portion with high levels is the exhaust for pressure, steam and air. I’m disappointed at they hysteria over these pots as not ALL brands and models are the same as the hype news articles claim
Such a great idea, I was actually getting ready to purchase one until I read an article from Boston health saying a lot of people are getting lead poisoning from these exact cookers, just a heads up.

@@junaidgul1983 I agree with you. I don't see anything that makes this better than regular pressure cooker. Some might argue that this design is more suited for outdoor/open fire use. But other than that, the odd shape and lock design make it more dangerous. Let alone the fact that lab tests showed that they're not made of aluminum but something called "Hindalium" which is heavily contaminated with highly toxic lead.
Just saw you on king 5 Seattle channel news report of afghan pressure cookers. They are dangerous and have lead! Cooking in Aluminium is also very bad.

How do you know that? Which brand, which model? You cant just claim all of them are bad. That TV news cast was entirely broad and lacked any detail.

no, that would remove anodized layer of aluminium, after which you could throw the thing away.
Uncoated aluminum...
never cook in aluminium.. a very bad idea

Mine came with a removable gasket but she didn’t show that. I, too, have trouble putting it on with the gasket but I would think it is necessary to create the pressure. I have seen other videos where they do not put that gaskets on so I’m confused about whether the gasket should on🤔🤔
A normal pressure cooker is doing the very same thing. Just being bulky and odd looking don't add anything to it. And, btw, my pressure cooker is made from stainless steel, always better than aluminum + it works on induction.
Whatever floats your boat! She is showing how to do the cleaning if you have one of these so obviously that excludes you. Easy peasy!
