Having watched Baba's videos for a decade now, and coming back to watch this, it hits home so hard that he's passed. Many a night I've fallen to sleep listening to him (and the blaring horns). Forever thankful for the comfort he's given.
baba is the man. a guy who truly loves what he does. he's not an overpaid actor, or athlete, or some famous-for-no-reason little priss. he's a regular dude who through a fluke of the internet became a sensation, but he's still the same guy who loves his job. more people need to be like him.
I think he became famous thanks to Nomadbarber. I saw Baba purely by accident when I just had nice beard trim adn started looking for videos of how barbershops work in ore exotic places like Italy, Turkey...and then I saw Baba. I had such joy looking at his performance, gave me pleasant chills.
THIS MAN IS SO DOWN TO EARTH AN EMITS SO MUCH POSITIVE ENERGY , I DON'T THINK THEIR IS A NEXT BARBER OUT THERE LIKE THIS GUY. I GIVE HIM 10/10... HE IS JUST SO PURE.
Seeing these videos about Baba, especially this interview with him, is really what TH-cam is all about and should be. This man, who owns a small barber shop in India, is now recognized to the World. He doesn't ask for fame, he just does his job, people film his unique style and worldwide viewers are drawn to him. These are the types of videos that TH-cam needs. I mean, every country has a barber shop, but then we see a different take of what a barber does. Now I wish for a similar type of barber here in Vancouver. Alas, I know there isn't but there is this one barber over in India, that aligns and soothes your Chakras. Makes him sound like a legend.
This is a legitimately wonderful human being. So passionate about his work. That kind of happiness and meaning is so rare and witnessing it is so affecting. So beautiful.
I remember on the initial video, I commented wondering if the video did anything for Baba. Watching this video, I'm happy to hear that he's doing well, that the video has helped him make plenty of more customers, and that he's able to laugh at himself and doesn't mind if others laugh. Time just stands still around this guy. There's something so honest about this fellow, being so great at what he does, in pure authenticity. Not exactly understanding what TH-cam is about probably only amplifies this beauty. All in his own special world, the individual at his best. A connection to himself, in the most simple, innocent, and artistic way possible. Maybe the closest thing to complete inner peace ever found, and something so rarely experienced in this age of judgement and destruction of the individual.
That Guy Don't know how to interpret that, but oh well. I just like to be as honest and as precise as I can in explaining what I feel, and that might look pretentious or something to some people. And yes, it can be quite exhausting, because most people don't give a shit and kinda throw words and insults around randomly, while I'm the guy getting lost in his own moral concepts and precision. Really, it takes time, and gets the focus away from just having fun and doing what you love. That's what I admire from that barber guy. He just does stuff.
Just found out about this guy 2 days ago. Have nothing but respect for him, very genuine, passionate about his craft, extremely humble and a man of the people. Blessings to him.

Living abroad for 2 years...the face the interviewer is making most of the video while the cosmic barber is talking: blank eyes, awkward smile, trying to make sense of what the man is saying as if they are both have a real conversation with no walls to understanding. I so don't miss that feeling.

My grandmother tried putting the bible in my head. My mother dragged me to church every week. And I felt nothing. Except maybe judgment and fear. But I watch Baba and get waves of tingles all over and nearly put into a trance. I find myself in such a good mood afterwards. I don't know what's real anymore.
