- This PowerPoint tutorial is about timeline slide animation. Here, I have showed how to animate a timeline slide using the animations and the transition. In the end of this video there is something more interesting which is not in the intro part. So, keep watching this tutorial until the end.

Basic information about the tutorial:
Project name: Animated timeline slide design
Software: PowerPoint 2016
Used shapes: Straight line, Oval, Hollow circle, Arc shape
Used font: Century Gothic
Used animations: Wipe, Zoom and Float in
Animations starts: From 6:42
Transition: Push (From Right)

Great tutorial. You can speed up the whole process if you animate the first point on the timeline BEFORE duplicating it to make the other four points. When you duplicate / copy-paste it copies the animations as well. This will save you from having to add the same animations five times.
You are a genius; I admit to using your template because with my arthritis, getting things aligned is tricky. I've used this template since 2017--never gets old.
I spent the whole fricking afternood doing this and I only realise you have a link to it at the end!!! FML lol

Thank god... U SAVED MY LIFE... Power Point school... without this timeline template i would have failed for history internal marks.... I forgot about the timeline homework that should be done in PowerPoint and when sir asked to submit it ... DEAD... at that moment i basically had an heart attack. He told me to submit it within 10 min and i was like... wtf..
I ran to youtube.. went to subscription... clicked on ONE SKILL POWERPOINT .. and searched for timeline... Then i came to POWER POINT SCHOO;.. and searched for timeline and i got this video. .. then downloaded the template and edited few things and submitted... and I even got 1st for the activity.... once again ... THANK YOU SOO MUCH. :)
My lecture told us to do a Animation slide about our University name. After watching this, i have only 22 minutes to do so. but lucky i manage to finish it on time. ( Walker Approve.)

This is great. I used the template, then grouped search year with the information, finally animated it with the appear animation year by year. It took me 5 minutes to do it all, now it looks amazing.

Great Tutorial! One more tip regarding your last step (the sliding to the right). Instead of using the "Push" transition and have everything slide to the right, save your headline or anything as an image and use said image as a background for your presentation. Further more use the "Pan" transition instead of the "Push" one. By doing so your headline will stay in the same place and only the timeline will move from chart to chart.

A helpful tip, if you want the transition to happen automatically after the animations are done on the first slide, you can look at your animation pane to determine how long all the animations last for (about 19 seconds in this case). This way you time your transition to start at the 20 second mark, or however long you prefer, in the "advance slide" section.
Or, if you like, you can have it transition on, "next mouse click", or of course, you can also select both to give the viewer both options.
I'm rushing my activity, which is geologic timeline of history of life on earth, then I watched this and follow the tutorial STEP BY STEP. Turns out it has a free template given at the end of the videoooooo! gosh all the hard work for nothing. I ended up using the free template

Love this making it more motivational to do my english homework, for anyone who has a mac downloading will convert it into keynote which still works. Also if people want to use this on google slides just make sure to export it as a powerpoint and to turn converting on your google drive settings before uploading it :)

When saw this video I didn't know that you can download the already finished timeline so I made one myself, closely following the tutorial. If I did it, me being someone who doesn't use PowerPoint a lot, you can do it, I believe in you! :3
