November 26th, 1992. Thanksgiving Day. The Macy's Parade is on, and it's followed by Oilers vs. Lions at noon. My stomach is so full of food, it's hard to breathe, let alone stay awake. Instead of waiting around for dessert, I consider taking my leave of the festivities and going to my room. I better sleep or work this grogginess off by early tomorrow morning if I wanna catch that "Macy's After Thanksgiving Sale." I saw that commercial about once every 6 minutes, they made sure I knew there was an After Thanksgiving Sale going on. One of these days we're gonna have to come up with a catchier term than "After Thanksgiving Sale."
