I love a lot of the analysis in here, and I'm impressed with how many different build's you've looked at. The comparisons are pretty good, and something I think a lot of agents miss when trying to build for NBBP. Things like: is it better than Memento? Is it better than a gearset Backpack? etc. Disagree on the Negotiator's dilemma critique. The hardest part of ND is being exposed to multiple enemies to get and maintain multiple marks. That NBBP build actually should help a ton to be able to be exposed and continue to get marks. While the ND backpack provides a lot of *theoretical* damage, you'll often find that the transfer damage kills marked targets so fast that you're constantly left with only one marked target standing. Not using the ND backpack actually allows more efficient kills by having the targets burn down at a more similar rate. Also, as far as the hotshot build goes, having a habs chest with a breaking point mask would actually be better damage than the airaldi you've got in there. Also, last I tested, Damage To Health does not increase the damage of any skills.
Glad you liked the video. With ND you deal more damage with just 2 enemies tagged when using the backpack. If you aren’t tagging at least 2, there isn’t really any point in running the gear set. Personally I think it is the chest piece that is less useful as tagging 5 rarely happens, but the ND build I was looking at was using it. Not sure about your point on the lower shared damage. If all the enemies are elite you would want as much damage as possible to be transferred, particularly as on average only 60% of hits are going to result in damage being transferred. Also killing other marked enemies quickly with the transferred damage is a good thing to reduce incoming damage. So overall, I still very much prefer the ND backpack to NB and would recommend players use it. But each to their own. All the builds are pre year six season one. My only complaint is in the beginning when you talk about how good strikers backpack is. In practice i often find the max damage potential of full stacks from the backpack does not translate as well into normal gameplay unless you're in a full team to make large spawns to shoot all the time, or in a incursion or raid where you have a big boss to focus on. It's like using intimidate over obliterate. Technically it's more damage but jumping through the hoops of activating that damage potential is important. For me at least in normal gameplay watching my striker stacks when running both the chest and backpack, i have a time time maintaining more than half stacks unless i'm on a boss that has the HP to allow a full buildup. OR i'm using a ACS12 to stack quickly. Even with the Ouroboros, the stacks fall off so quickly after the first half you don't end up benefiting from the possible damage potential.
In comparison to the NB, you only need 1 hit for the strikers backpack to be better because it is a straight 35% multiplicative damage uplift. Each shot does more damage irrespective of how many stacks you have. The same is true when comparing with any other backpack. Vigilance for example. You only get the benefit from vigilance if you are landing shots, which also benefits the strikers backpack. Your complaint is really more relevant to the chest piece which extends the strikers stacks to 200, which when playing solo is very hard to utilize fully, and the gearset as a whole. In which case I think it is absolutely a good challenge and worth testing out. If you are using strikers then the backpack is essential to maximize dps. It's fine but it really shines on harder content like incursion or in groups where the stacks are up most of time. In solo heroic I prefer negotiators dilemma (and by some margin)
I would say using legmo, named R&K holster and 1 more R&K, brazos and lastly 1 piece sokolove for that smg and crit dmg. I suggest using elmo and a smg of 850 RPM or higher. Run 3 blues, 3 yellow and go crazy with red cores. Run technician for more heal and attributes for that extra red core and for that shock and emp resist. With the amount of health that your shield has been given youre a walking DPS tank with good heals. Perfect for solo content. Also explosive res and hazard protection due to your heals comes in handy. I use obliterate for more dmg or you can use good O'L unbreakable.
Thanks for this. I'm not actively looking at ninjabike builds right now but appreciate you sharing yours with the community. If I create a follow up video on the ninjabike, I will absolutely include this build in it. Cheers!
Yooo my combat medic build made it into the video! I loved your input on it, pretty helpful. I honestly might do some tweaking and add an opportunistic bag to the build without sacrificing too much armor 🤔 that overlord shotgun looking pretty interesting for a pvp healer (yeah with my Ninjabike dz healer, it's so not meant for PvE content and your advice is spot on for PvE content)
Almost famous!!! 🙂 Do you find you need all the healing from future initiative in the dz? Just curious. I run a solo healer build in the dz but with brandsets. More dps with enough healing to heal through getting ganked.
@@NYLCasualGaming I've managed to get the exact same amount of repair skills by going the Palisades Steelworks route. With this build, it's going to rely heavily on Kard TDI as the build itself will have 1.6m armor and only 5 skill tiers (6 with Kard TDI). Yes, it's another ninjabike, but holy shit 1.6m armor on a healer build insane!! I'll leave my new build below: Weapon 1 - Capacitor - why? Weapon damage from the skill tiers Weapon 2 - MP5 with future perfect - why? Getting a kill will give skill tiers Pistol - Kard TDI with reformation - why? Talent grants repair skills, and you hold it to get to skill tier 6. Mask : Murakami (skill tier/repair skills/skill haste) Chest: Palisades (armor/repair skills/skill haste/repair skills) unbreakable Holster: Brazos (armor/repair skills/skill haste) Backpack: ninjabike (duh) Gloves: Alps summit (armor/repair skills/skill haste) Knees: Palisades (armor, repair skills, skill haste) Skill 1 - Healer hive (duh) Skill 2 - Heal Chem (duh) 1.6m armor, 5 skill tiers (6 if you get a kill with future perf or you hold kard TDI) **Do note:** each piece can be swapped around. Unbreakable is optional, empathic resolve is a good one. I chose unbreakable so it makes me harder to kill, very good when your role as the manhunt group healer is to keep the team alive. If you wanted to troll, you can take that named Palisades chest and use healer hive + repair trap to set off explosions with the heal skills. People hate it so much when I run that build 🤣
@@NYLCasualGaming and also, I went with the future initiative route due to the talent FI gearset gives, which is the damage buff when at full armor. By running that, I basically give my whole team free 15% weapon damage (almost like vigilance) when they're fully healed. FI chest bumps it to 25 but rarely in pvp will you be at max health. So, empathic resolve was my best choice. 15 bonus from empathic, 15 from future. Gives 30 total at its strongest. Was hard to turn a blind eye to future

Hotshot works well still. Determined still triggers Hotshots talents. There is the new gear set, breaking point, which some players have said is good but I’ve not tried it out yet.
I have an explosive hybrid using the ninja bag & capacitor for PvP. It’s top tier. I use explosive sticky bomb & explosive seeker mine. I’m skill tier 6, 1.4 mil armor with Unbreakable & my sticky bomb hits for 1.2 mil in PvP & my seeker hits for 800k. I use technician specialist, 1 piece China Light, 1 piece Wyvern, 1 piece Grupo, Picaros Holster & 1 piece Hana U. My sticky bomb & seeker comes back after about 15 seconds & my capacitor is sitting at 56% chc & about 130% chd. It’s a fun build. Gotta use Unbreakable on chest however since it’s a PvP build. There are some funky builds that work using Ninja Bag out there. With my particular build, I can actually face tank a 2+ mil armor PvP player & mow them down with my capacitor after or while my sticky & seeker chunks their armor off. It really is a super fun build.
What are your thoughts on hunters fury with a piece of sokolov and either WH or providence. Obliterate* on chest. Hunter fury is supposed to be close range so headshots are pretty easy with smg. *edit 3 Edit.. Could also switch to closer chest with linked laser on smg (vector is preferred for me) sokolov would likely be the other brand set. Edit 2 I do agree that memento for solo players trumps almost any ninja bike
HF is a great gearset and intimidate following its buff is a very strong talent with something like adrenaline rush on the backpack. A great combination. You could also go grupo or Ceska for the second piece for another source of multiplicative damage. I would need to run it through my model to see if the amp damage of spotter outperforms the higher WD from intimidate. I will have a look later today. Another option for SMG is the banshee. Following the buffs from Project Resolve I have heard it is the hardest hitting SMG now, but not tested in yet.
@NYLCasualGaming I like the banshee for sure and I suppose the disoriented status would proc vindictive for some awesome results. I honestly havent tried ninja with HF as I usually run memento. I was just trying to find another gear set that might do decent with ninja as the HF backpack is kind of lack luster.
@NYLCasualGaming I also just realized that intimidate isn't what I meant to type as there is no bonus armor on HF, I meant obliterate originally. Was late when I watched the video.
Try 3 piece umbra chest, face, holster, and 2 piece striker, gloves, kneepads. With ninjabp. Amplifies rpm 45%, crit 100%+, and armor regen. (EVEN WITH ALL RED CORES AND ALL CRIT D AND CRIT C.
In the first chapter of the video I tested the rpm buff of strikers against a brandset backpack with vigilance. The brandset backpack delivers better time to kill. 🤷🏼♂️
try 3 pieces umbra chest holster face 2 piece striker glove and kneepads with striker. If you set oroborous up with it around 1900 to 2152 rpm, bulletking up to 1212 rpm. St. Elmos 1200 rpm, even shield splinter over 1100 rpm, and best yet Pestilence up to 843 rpm.
It won't make any difference. What I tested was effectively whether the damage uptick by not using the 2 piece Strikers was better than the RPM increase from Strikers. So as long as everything else on the build stays the same, you will get exactly the same results. Do you get it? The Umbra part on your build will remain exactly the same and sill buff RPM and DMG the same whether you are using Strikers or not. And I've proved that I can outperform the Strikers part with brandsets.

Can you please tell me the build that is the best for damage and the most survivability for PVE and PVP in your opinion? I have yet to make a single build cause I keep switching my choices I just want to make 1 build and be done such a grind😭
You will need at least two builds because PvE and PvP play so differently. A PvE build just won’t work in PvP. For PvE I would start with a heartbreaker build because it deals good damage and has great survivability. It is the third build in this video: th-cam.com/video/h8VPj2eBNaU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0bYNLXPSbfw8-5aM For PvP it very much depends what you are doing - conflict, farming dz landmarks, going rogue in the dz or killing rogues, solo or in a group - all will be very different.
For the DZ my recommendation would be to start with a pretty simple build and get in there farming. If you are playing solo avoid any gearsets that need stacks to work well because rogues won’t give you the time to build them up. I use something like this one but with the capacitor now it has been buffed. th-cam.com/video/5FNQ8DRL2ks/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Qbng-q-mk3Iu6--U There are some good tips for farming in this video as well. th-cam.com/video/xbajSepgJao/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JNpzP8lrMRtkLmtX Then every time you are killed by a rogue, before you respawn inspect their build. Once you find one that fits best with your playstyle in pvp, go with that one. I say all this because I really don’t think there is a one fits all build for pvp. Are you aggressive or cautious, up close and personal or from range, do you like fast encounters or to wear rogues down? All of these will influence what build works best for you.
The Memento? Completely different backpack. See the fourth secret I think it was about solo players. I did a direct comparison between Ninjabike and Memento.
@@NYLCasualGaming memento😂💀 backpack** wouldn’t the same apply to the other gear set packback . Like Memento backpack with 4 pieces of striker instead of the backpack being the striker BP. With memento we pick up trophies but lose out on the weapon dmg by the striker BP if not mistaken. Edit:Just got done with the video
You are correct. For pure dps, the striker backpack is the best option when playing striker builds. I don’t know how familiar you are with the damage bucket concept in D2. Certain damage modifiers are additive and some are multiplicative. So 10% more additive weapon damage (WD) is worse than 10% multiplicative damage. Say you have 3 weapon cores for 45% WD. Adding another 10% and you are multiply your base WD by 1.55. But adding 10% multiplicative damage to your build will be 1.45 x 1.1 = 1.595. So 4.5% higher dmg output. Striker stacks fall into their own multiplicative bucket.

Ninja bike is a pvp exotic not a pve one to be honest like you said it kinda sucks with gearsets unless its for conflict or dz use if you have a brazos chest piece for more ammo but still, i actually try to stay away from it now but if you have a brazos chestpiece with obliterate or unbreakable its really fun to have a shit ton of ammo only way you can run a hybrid on striker you need a brazos chestpiece all red and then yes you will hit hard but striker backpack is king

Saying that, I don't enjoy strikers on solo heroic content.
I'll leave my new build below:
Weapon 1 - Capacitor - why? Weapon damage from the skill tiers
Weapon 2 - MP5 with future perfect - why? Getting a kill will give skill tiers
Pistol - Kard TDI with reformation - why? Talent grants repair skills, and you hold it to get to skill tier 6.
Mask : Murakami (skill tier/repair skills/skill haste)
Chest: Palisades (armor/repair skills/skill haste/repair skills) unbreakable
Holster: Brazos (armor/repair skills/skill haste)
Backpack: ninjabike (duh)
Gloves: Alps summit (armor/repair skills/skill haste)
Knees: Palisades (armor, repair skills, skill haste)
Skill 1 - Healer hive (duh)
Skill 2 - Heal Chem (duh)
1.6m armor, 5 skill tiers (6 if you get a kill with future perf or you hold kard TDI)
**Do note:** each piece can be swapped around.
@@NYLCasualGaming You literally know nothing about this game do you? Please learn before talking next time.
Future initiative is never for the healing, it's for the damage amp. There is no such thing as a solo healer, you run a healer with a team in the dz. Otherwise you go regen or hotswap to everyday carrier and firewall medkit.
Holy hell you sure talk a lot for knowing nothing about the game.

My pleasure. Glad you like it.

Great video as always but now I have so many options I’m getting confused hahaha
That is always a problem! Gotta try them all! Thanks for watching.
Been farming the hg backpack for 3 weeks, going to slap on the ninja. Do i swap hotshot for something else?
Hotshot works well still. Determined still triggers Hotshots talents. There is the new gear set, breaking point, which some players have said is good but I’ve not tried it out yet.
Superior explanation of why Ninjaback BP is inferior with helpful evidence-based numbers. You are the true hero of the Tom Clancy republic!! :)
Thank you! 🙂
Nice. I might try it out.
I use my ninjabike for exotic components, game changer 😂😂
🤣👍🏻
You dare disparage the mighty Ninja Backpack? Great Vid! I'm gonna go watch more.
Thank you!
One shot sniper/rifle builds seem to be rather decent with ninja bag for solo content. Alot of variation from dps to survivability!
Yes. It’s my go to for quick clears.
Great video!! Thank you 🙏
My pleasure. Not sure it will get anywhere near the views to justify the time spent making it, but needed to get it done. 🙂
What are your thoughts on hunters fury with a piece of sokolov and either WH or providence. Obliterate* on chest. Hunter fury is supposed to be close range so headshots are pretty easy with smg.
*edit 3
Edit..
Could also switch to closer chest with linked laser on smg (vector is preferred for me) sokolov would likely be the other brand set.
Edit 2
I do agree that memento for solo players trumps almost any ninja bike
My favorite piece I run solo to farm with a Scorpio shotgun. Destroys everything.
@capt.america2737 depending on content, zero f's could help a lot with scopio to give some dps and heaps of survivability
You did not test thr umbra striker. I saw the whole video. You tested different variations.@NYLCasualGaming
try 3 pieces umbra chest holster face 2 piece striker glove and kneepads with striker. If you set oroborous up with it around 1900 to 2152 rpm, bulletking up to 1212 rpm. St. Elmos 1200 rpm, even shield splinter over 1100 rpm, and best yet Pestilence up to 843 rpm.
I use this in many different type content.
Thanks
Thanks for watching
You’re awesome, I’d like for you to rate my tank build… “The Wall”
Well thank you. Feel free to drop the details here. Happy to have a look. Presumably using Lengmo for the skill health.

It is the third build in this video:
th-cam.com/video/h8VPj2eBNaU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0bYNLXPSbfw8-5aM
For PvP it very much depends what you are doing - conflict, farming dz landmarks, going rogue in the dz or killing rogues, solo or in a group - all will be very different.
@@NYLCasualGamingFarming DZ and killing rogue agents
For the DZ my recommendation would be to start with a pretty simple build and get in there farming. If you are playing solo avoid any gearsets that need stacks to work well because rogues won’t give you the time to build them up. I use something like this one but with the capacitor now it has been buffed.
th-cam.com/video/5FNQ8DRL2ks/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Qbng-q-mk3Iu6--U
There are some good tips for farming in this video as well.
th-cam.com/video/xbajSepgJao/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JNpzP8lrMRtkLmtX
Then every time you are killed by a rogue, before you respawn inspect their build.
So this concept will also go with the momento backpack as well.
@@NYLCasualGaming I run two builds my self full 4 pieces with the backpack and chest cheska holster and coyote mask mostly run this for incursion and heroic/legendary. My memento build mask, holster, gloves and knees with cheska obliterate chest
Do you have a good NB conflict build you could share? I’ve heard this before but I still think something like catharsis might be a better option. Would like to test some out and crunch the numbers.
@@NYLCasualGaming for sure bro all you need is picaro holster brazos chestpiece obliterate all crits the chest piece needs to be a red core tho everything else is strikers red cores pairing that with iron lung for the 127 round mag, its one of my fav countdown builds and still hits over a mill in crits on max striker stacks,
Nice, sounds good.
@@NYLCasualGaming btw NYL thats a coutdown build for conflict its pretty straightforward you just max smg amplified damage as much as you can Unbreakable sokolov chest piece 2 piece electrique walker harris and picaros holster thats it or you can put 1 piece hunter fury in there if you want.
Got it. I might do a follow up on pvp builds at some stage.
