I took a video in the fall of my dad who passed away on Feb 18 pushing his "wheelie-walker" and Marbles, the feral kitten we brought inside a year ago Saturday, is riding on the seat. Dad and his buddy getting some exercise. Those two were best friends until the day Dad passed and brought him so much joy. Marbles is the reason Dad got exercise because he loved going for walks around the house with the cat riding along. It's on YT under "Dad pushing Marbles around" if anyone wants to see it. This kitten was literally feral for the first 6 months of his life. He's now the sweetest boy and loves cuddles.

My mom had a similar story. She found a stray cat by a church one day and brought him home. In truth, he found her and insisted on going home with her. He loved riding on her walker!

My cat would try to follow me to school. (Our cats back then were inside/outside pets.) I would tell him; "Go home Rex, you can't go to school with me." Eventually, he would turn around and go back. I was so fortunate that none of my cats ever got hurt or killed. Now my cats stay inside!
When I was a child my cat did that in the countryside, got bit by a snake. Took 4 days to find the body, traumatised me!

Before there was so much traffic by us we had two indoor outdoors, two house block. Cats pretty much stuck to our property. They lived to almost 17 and almost 18. I miss them so. Both passed of natural causes, and the elder one indoors. She never hid away, just passed. All my cats are indoors too. Had two more after that. Want another so badly. Well two...

Yes, its hard when you loose one. Especially when he does not come home without reason. I never found out what happened and still cry about him. My other cats comfort me.

Just watched an amazing story. An 84 year old man fell in the shower and laid there for 16 hours. His phone was out of reach. Out of desperation he started saying “ring a ding“ to his cat. Within a few minutes the cat was able to push the phone off the counter and it landed on the gentleman. The cat absolutely saved the man’s life and he had only adopted him two weeks earlier. The cat’s name is Fluffy. Please watch the video and have a little cry.
Waited 16 hours? Nah. My cats were instant when I was in distress.

Cats are remarkably and loving. I just lost one of mine (in my pic) after 14 years on May 11th out of the blue. It’s been so hard and I can feel the sadness with my other pets too. I like watching these just to see the love the cats have for us all. ❤ 🐈

I can relate to that... I still talk to my cats who crossed the Rainbow bridge before me, but I know they'll greet me when it'll be my time..
11 years ago we had to let our oldest cat fall asleep, she was +14 and the night before that awful day, I sat outside crying, have a smoke and said a little prayer to another dear cat who had passed a few months earlier...I just begged him to come and help her, Whisky, over...I didn't tell anyone about this prayer of mine.
She took her last breath in my arms while my tears flooded😭
A few days later a "psychic" told me that I shouldn't worry anymore... "Zorro was there when Whisky crossed - he heard you!"

Animals really are God's special furry friends. They can feel when their human is sad, worried, upset, etc. It is so great when a human recognizes this, enjoying a pet and treating them with love, respect, and care. Please teach your children to treat animals with respect.

I heard there was a study done using kittens with convicts. Some were worried the kittens would get hurt, or worse, but threats and hostilities between inmates dropped.
They still had to buy things for their cats, so the inmates had to work in the compound/prison for a wage.
I think it became the most peaceful prison in it's district/location.
