Pondicherry University is a central university, established in 1985. The university is recently ranked by many agencies such as NIRF, Times Higher Education, QS, and US News. The NIRF has ranked the university at 81st for the overall performance of the university in its 2020 rankings. The university offers Postgraduate and Doctoral level programs in regular and distance mode. In addition to regular courses, the university also runs 26 Diploma / Certificate Add-On Courses in the evening session. Admission to all the courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university except for M.Sc. (Biotechnology). For M.Sc. Biotechnology, admission is done through JNU CEEB.
Graduates from the University are placed in top-notch companies such as TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Satyam, HCL, HP, Caritor, L&T Infotech, IDBI, HSBC, Standard Charted, Kotak Securities, Honeywell, Hindustan Zinc, Reliance, ICICI, LVB, Accenture, Syntel, etc.,

There is no offline class due to covid pandemic.One of my seniors told me that hostel facilities and all are provided for students .I got the information that foreign students used to study there.University office phone number is provided in the university site.You can call them to clear your doubt regarding admission. May I know which subject you want to learn.From which country you are ?
