I am a bit on a heavy side, You describe the rash and the poking of the beaver tail carrying it in the appendix position sitting. One hundred percent on point. I carry it either in the pocket or on my strong side. Never a problem. Sometimes I forget I even have it on. This gun is for close quarters. There is no need to do or put anything on his gun to make it bigger. This gun was designed to be an up close and personal fighting firearm. I practice. point-and-shoot at 3 to 5 yards. One hundred percent center mass hits. Practice practice practice, guys.
You killed it my friend. I have the weapon and is fantastic. It fits large and small hands. Put it in your ladies hand and you’ll need 2. Particularly like your observations on the holsters which have not really been addressed because it’s such a new treasure.It’s selling like crazy in the Detroit area
To be honest. When I bought this gun. my intentions was to use it for exercise purposes only. Power walking, riding my bike, running, But the reality is, I've been carrying it every since I've gotten it. I've already ordered another 12 round magazine. is very comfortable, Extremely concealable It's pleasant to shoot, and it has a capable round. I won't be rocking it in the winter but summer, this is what I'm I'm wearing..
I absolutely love this gun for ultimate low profile carry. I throw this in my pocket with a sticky holster sm2. This is a tiny gun that’s fells like a full hand gun.
I have one in my pocket right now and its my backup and part of my EDC along with my S&W M&P 9 2.0 I was very surprised as to how small this firearm was but yet is felt like a full size in my hands I have medium size hands and it fits perfectly S&W DOES IT AGAIN !
@@Robert-kb8rl i've heard aftermarket parts from mcarbo and galloway precision can help with that but honestly, i think that's just the nature of rim fire cartridges itself.
@@ventxret Certainly .22lr is a challenge but my S&W Compact 22lr shoots any brand of .22lr ammo without any issues. Maybe S&W knows something Ruger doesn’t.
I held one in my gun store today and I’m surprised how stiff and rough the slide felt when racking it. I expected to be a very easy rack and smooth, but it wasn’t. Is that normal or is there something wrong with that particular firearm? I have plenty of strength in my hands, so that’s not the issue.
Lotta reviews of this gun having failure to feed, it shooting to the left, and the trigger guard being too small for big fingers or gloves. 1. Have you had those issues? 2. Also, are any light or laser options coming out for it? Thank you!!! Bless
So far mine has ran flawlessly 🙏🏽 as of now I don’t believe there’s any lights or lasers for it, but I will keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the comment brother

I traded my Ruger LCP max for the S&W 2.0 380. After 200 rounds through the gun and carrying, for me, this is the best deep concealment gun , I am well pleased with it !
Awesome review! Unfortunately mine wasn’t that great..😒…FMJ rounds aren’t an issue, but defensive rounds, it’ll ONLY cycle Hornady Critical Defense. Any other defensive round like Underwood XD or ARX Inceptor gets STUCK in the chamber so bad you have to shoot it to eject the round. I’ve had over 60 ppl try to eject a round manually & nobody could do it…🤷🏻♂️…also my 12rd mag is an absolute nightmare to get the 12th rd in, had those same ppl try to load the 12th round w/only 28 ppl being able to do so…only has 88 rounds shot thru it as of now constant stove pipes & failure to feed..🤦🏻♂️…
Sounds like yours might have something going on. Underwood XDs run solid through mine and had zero malfunctions with 23 rounds of Underwood and 150 rounds of range ammo. Might need to contact S&W As far as mags, us an uplula and you’ll have no issues loading them
@@TRR56 I’ll try one, I’ve got some “assistance loaders”, not Uplula tho, & even using those you still have to put your body weight into trying to get that 12th round in the mag. I’ve cut both of my thumbs so bad and so have several other people trying to put that 12th round in the mag even using the assistance loaders. Thanks for all your info though. You’re right, I guess I’m just gonna have to try to contact Smith & Wesson. I hope their customer service is as good as everyone says.
I've had several fail to feed with Underwood XD as well. Smoothing out now with almost 300 rounds through it. Last trip just have to tap slide to chamber. Probably the 2 part feed ramp hanging up on the lip of the casing. Going to polish ramp.
@Aaron-ro4kv that's exactly what I've seen on a review. They Say the construction of the feed ramp can hang up a little especially on flatter nosed ammo. I'm not sure if they had to make it a 2 part ramp from the redesign they did but that's the only hang up I've heard about them at all. Other than that they seem like an awesome option for super deep carry
@@stephonhicks5129 I’ve had the worst luck with ARX Inceptor ammo, which is a somewhat pointed tip ammunition. I don’t know why the slide locked up as bad as it did, but we fought for almost 2 1/2 hours to try to get the slide to rack to release a live round and at the time we had an event going on where over 60 people, varying strengths and sizes tried to rack to slide to get the ammo out and no one could do it. Some of them were engineers, some were even engineers in the firearms field. No one could figure out how to get the ammo out. The only way to do it was to fire the gun and waste a round.🤷🏻♂️. I did, however, have several of the engineers. Tell me that there is something severely wrong with my ejector, and if you look at my ejector, it is stuck in the halfway position between open and closed, you cannot push or pull on the ejector in any way shape or form to get it to move. it is completely locked up. That’s why I’m thinking I may have to send it back to Smith & Wesson. I mean, it’s a brand, new gun and supposedly under warranty, I have several other CCW‘s that I can use until that one gets back, it just angers me a little …my first M&P 2.0 I had issues with, my M&P 2.0 45 ACP I had issues with, my CSX I didn’t have issues with the gun, but I had to buy nine magazines to get 2 that function properly And now THIS…🤦🏻♂️

Plan was to go to an indoor range and put some rounds through it and test it but I forgot about weekend CPL classes and I got there too late. Going to have to try again later this week maybe go to a friend of my mother's since he lives out in the country and invited me to shoot on his property. Until cold weather hit's it's 100% going to be my EDC and be quick grab pistol.

@@ventxret I have one of those and it is unreliable. I can’t go ten rounds without a misfire or failure to eject. I am hoping S&W will do better.

If you want to add size with lights/lasers, just get the Shield Plus. This goes in the pocket.
