Hey bro I have done some of your methods, the more extreme ones. Personally I think you're one of the best philosophers out there and I love your command of the English language. Godspeed bro;)
Philosophy is a structure that can flush the mind of programming into the loop of curiosity and push towards creativeness. To be crazy is to be ok to stand alone that no one will understand the “truth” which in-self is endless, almost like dancing with music that never stops.
Your channel is GOLD. Thanks Leo. I am learning a lot from you, it is unbelievble that this knowledge is free, I am going to make the most of it. Lots of love from Argentina❤
The deep sense of awe I feel right now is not just from hearing Leo say he wants to write the most profound and powerful philosophical book in the last 1000 years, it’s from the deep trust and even perhaps knowing that he can actually do it. It’s been a long and wonderful road so far with you Leo. I’m excited for wherever it takes us. :)
I've already written the most meaningful philosophy thing ever written, but it's only a pamphlet, because a book would be needlessly verbose. Let me know if you want it.
Loved the video, thanking for taking the time to share your wisdom/knowledge/ideas. I've been something of a student of philosophy for almost my entire life. I remember even as a yound child I loved pondering some of the big questions such as the meaning and purpose of life or life in general. The very first essay I ever wrote in school was my take on the meaning of life. Ever since I almost died a few years back I've been studying philosophy a lot more.
Dude I just want you to get richer and richer and richer. It’s a shame I have yet, to support you. I am living in South Africa where I’m facing survival issues, but I don’t want another 12mths to go by. I’m just so thankful you exist
It is of my opinion that this guy speaks mostly in platitudes and generalizations. I’ve listened several of his videos over the last 4 or 5 years and have not gleaned much of any wisdom from his words. I would consider him more of a modern day sophist than a truly wise individual that ultimately is interested in your money. I myself would recommend the Michael Sugrue channel as a great entrance into philosophy and the ideas of the western intellectual tradition. Sugrue has real credentials and is an old man at this point. Not once have I ever spent a dime for any of the information he has imparted and yet he’s an excellent thinker and historian with a philosophical bend. This guy Leo is garbage who claims the answers to ultimate reality then says he can’t tell us. Please, let me know what great wisdom or fact you learned from this man that makes viewing and following him worth while.
I need a clear, straightforward episode on how to deal with a toxic boss. I feel I've progressed in my self development, but having found you 9 years ago, I find myself starting from the beginning whenever something debilitating comes up...not all situations are debilitating, but a toxic boss just chews at you little by little, and in the end can psychologically debilitate your thinking. How can I find the right mindset, to help me navigate through it, until I get another job, how do I create some sort of action for change within myself, during those difficult interactions? Thanks for everything, you helped me leave a religious cult, and a toxic family, all with mindfulness and self actualizing, no medication, just meditation, nor therapy, just me, myself, and I, and understanding with myself. Thanks Leo, you've saved lives, and I hope you know this.
Instead of saying "I can't deal with my toxic boss", say "I can deal with my toxic boss" and start listing all the ways that you can deal with your toxic boss. Hope this helps you.

In the silence of your mind, there Is God....Observation can save us from nonsense..a neverending, silent, humble observation, where you don't know what Life Is...but you can feel Life in everything...maybe, one day, by pursuing what It Is, you will be a full part of It, and that is the starting of Philosophy... Thank you, Leo, once again, for your fondamental spark of Truth, so deeply helpful for us all..F.
Also distinctly remember sitting on a roof with a childhood bestie looking up at the stars wondering about whether the Universe has an end or if it goes on forever. Logic told us that it has to be limited, but intuition said it must be unlimited, since what would prevent the Universe from being Infinite? Crazy what that innocent spark of curiosity is only just beginning to reveal now. 🌈🤍🙏💫 “The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding.” ~ Leonardo da Vinci “If professors of philosophy truly understood the cogito, they wouldn’t be professors of philosophy.” ~ Jed McKenna
Thank you Leo for sharing your infinite wisdom. I plug into your wisdom and consciousness all the time and transfer those insights to my own life and the lives of my clients as a life coach. ~ Clay
Thank you for constantly inspiring me to live a better life. I have been building meditation and shadow work skills for a while and love writing insights but I've been wanting to get more serious about philosophy so this is a great kick in the butt from the universe
Arguing over which historic philosopher was right or wrong might not be serious philosophy, but it is philosophy and a good foundation to serious philosophy. Because these way you learn to understand how serious philosophers have thought and you can filter out bad philosophy for yourself and get an intuition how good philosophy looks. In order to get to truth, it's useful to know what professional's paths towards truth looked like.
That sounds nice in theory, but in practice it will lead you no closer to Truth. Which is why no Western philosopher or academic today knows what Truth is.
Ohhhh my man. I have been waiting so long for this. I love the other content but we really need the basics of philosophy since very few con teach that like you
Leo I think you would make an amazing professor. I have been listening to you for years. I love your videos and the way you say things makes so much sense to me. You have done an incredible amount of work, you are highly intelligent and intuitive.
Interesting questions: What is consciousness? Are plants conscious? What is the relationship between mind and matter? What makes for a good life? How do we know we can trust science? What are the best ways to understand nature? What do the results of quantum mechanics mean? How did life originate? What is time? What would it be like to communicate with aliens? How do we construct the best society possible? What is proof? What do you want out of philosophy?
Yes, I've been waiting for a video like this that sets it all out. Thank you so much Leo, really helps out those of us that are "slow", Also, very impressive you were able to put up with that mask pain for 3H. Almost like strong determined sitting meditation
I have been reading philosophy for some time now. I will be giving this video a once over after this comment. One piece of advice I have is that second hand stores, garage and yard sales, the internet, librevox, Facebook yardsale are where I have gotten all of my books. You can get many of them for little to nothing and build them up when ever you find a new one. Another piece imo advice is that some of the more nuanced philosophies dont really have answers so you shouldn't feel like you have to look for them or feel bad you havent found them. In fact many raise more questions than answer, but it's the act of engaging with the question that IS the point of contact that's important. I'm actually knocking my own thesis around but I havent put pen to paper with it yet.
Thank you Leo. I have been watching your videos for many years now. I had a break of watching your videos as I was in deep awakening. You ready helped me a lot on my journey and help to sticked to my path of truth. There is only consciousness and there is only self healing and there is only That. Thank you for enriching people with your wisdom. Thank God for everything we can philosophies about, or that God philosophies about itself.
Thank you Leo, this is a gem! I have been fumbling through all these schools of thought to get to the answers of what consciousness is... psycadelics brought me so many insights and i have healed my personality disorder in this pursuit. Your work has helped me tremendously and i couldn't be more grateful. I have a calling to help open up the minds of children, to create more deep thinkers. The world is in great need for that. This year I'll dive deeper, thank you for the road map! I had this strong insight that when we all get this right, our planet will become a sun. This concept is so deep though, hard to explain, but i know what i mean. Edit: now that I've listened to the end... your cord analogy with immortality resignates with me completely, i picture it like knotted chains. If you are trying to untangle a necklace (i worked in a jewelry store), the best way is to place the chain on a solid surface and open up the knots (give space) and find the two ends (distinction). From there it's simple, not easy. This must be done over and over until you get it done, then it's important to store it correctly (integrate) it because if you don't, it will just get knotted again tomorrow.
Hey Leo, thank you for this profound video! Just one suggestion: I think writing out your thoughts and questions while contemplating is even more powerful than "just" thinking. At least for me :) All the best 💙
Man! Your quote… made me laugh out loud! That about consciousness… wish I could sit down with you Leo to tell you what I discovered. I’d blow your mind!
When I was 8 years old I was so curious about religion, the after life, the idea of forever, and what happens after death; that I ended up creating anxiety attacks trying to mentally grasp the nature of infinity. Philosophy and Awakening for me is just a necessary understanding to have for survival. So by the time this body changes form and is no longer, I can be alright with it.
So cool to witness your journey, Leo. Found you after my first 5meo session a few years ago by happenstance and have watched most of your content since. Thanks for being an extraordinary role model. Also very cool you mentioned Sri Aurobindo, his work was my gateway into Truth.

Philosophy (from greek philo - Love, sophia - wisdom) commonly understood as loving wisdom, or love to wisdom, but one another meaning is Love before Wisdom, or Love first and than wisdom
Great topic, again! I recently looked into some basic philosophy courses, and even though I learned some new things, Leo usually has deeper and more comprehensive explanations which will be interesting to learn about.
Id like to think philosofi as a mandelbrot. It goes deeper and deeper. You can zoom in in one area and far as you like. Sometimes it reminds you of were you started, other times its something new
I haven't watched a video of him for over two years and watching few minutes of this now, basically the same things he used to talk about just with different title..
Amazing video! 🙏🏻 Was surprised that Konfuzius was mentioned but Lao-Tse and Tao philosophy wasnt. Even in the Western world Alan Watts made it so popular recently.

Anyway thanks for your smart teachings. I am from Mexico and I would like to translate to Spanish some ideas to my people. THANKS AGAIN. Have an enlightened 2024
Yeah, there's definitely a hole to look through right there. What doesn't matter is who you admire. What really matters is your understanding of reality. If you think about it, things kind of work in this winding system of sorts.
Would just like to give a formal thank you. This video led me to realize for the first time my Absurdism tendencies, research the matter, and identify them personally as a waste of time, perhaps a mostly non-helpful reaction at times in the face of true suffering, despair, and helplessness. Happened upon a video by Eternalised as well, a fitting synopsis of Albert Camus' "The Plague" which helped drive the issue home, and bolster the position of a more student based approach. While I have seen you laugh at absurdities, for the sake of a higher perspective, and I do think laughter is one of the best forms of medicine, it must be rooted in Love, always, I do not believe it to be a well-functioning foundational philosophy, but one that breeds tragedy and unbridled chaos, not the best environment for most. Thank you.
My highschool philosophy teacher didn't believe that philosophy is about finding a fundamental truth, but rather that there are many truths. So I said: But then, isn't there just one truth, which is that there exists multiple truths? And he really stopped to think about that lol
@@vekeboxi8501 You're lucky you even had a philosophy teacher in high school. I went to a great high school but we didn't have philosophy as a class at all.

Leo, Thank you for bringing up how most humans think animals are dumb. It's been proven that if you tickle a mouse they actually giggle. TH-cam has a few videos on the subject ( Google also). I wish everyone loved animals as much as I do.

When you asked 'What is a question?', an insight came: A question is a free magic key that unlocks a part of yourself that previously lay hidden.
Hey Leo I really appreciate this video and all the advanced tips you give in it. I really hope you're enjoying your solitude stay strong bro Godspeed

I love you so much Leo. You are absolutely fantastic.

Thanks for your insights, you are a great chap, Leo.
Thank you for constantly inspiring me to live a better life. I have been building meditation and shadow work skills for a while and love writing insights but I've been wanting to get more serious about philosophy so this is a great kick in the butt from the universe
this is the most absolutely awesome episode in quite a while! Thank you Leo!
This has rekindled my love for philosophy
Awesome video. I am excited to learn more on this alien consciousness you were explaining at the end of the video😍
Interesting questions:
What is consciousness?

This is pretty solid advice
Thank you Leo. I have been watching your videos for many years now. I had a break of watching your videos as I was in deep awakening. You ready helped me a lot on my journey and help to sticked to my path of truth. There is only consciousness and there is only self healing and there is only That. Thank you for enriching people with your wisdom. Thank God for everything we can philosophies about, or that God philosophies about itself.
Your making take things seriously and I love it
Thank you Leo, this is a gem!
I wanna go the deepest with you Leo. Watching you since 2015. Helped me a lot. Can't wait till you have a meditation camp lol
Hey Leo, thank you for this profound video! Just one suggestion: I think writing out your thoughts and questions while contemplating is even more powerful than "just" thinking. At least for me :)
All the best 💙
58:04 - philosophical questions. I will be coming back here for some time, great video, thanks leo
Beautiful! Especially the 4 questions. I love how you swear. Very appropriate use imo. :)
So cool to witness your journey, Leo. Found you after my first 5meo session a few years ago by happenstance and have watched most of your content since. Thanks for being an extraordinary role model. Also very cool you mentioned Sri Aurobindo, his work was my gateway into Truth.
Hey, Leo! These latest few episodes have been awesome! I love revisiting the purest forms of philosophy.
If you think that you "know" that you have reached the end of philosophy, you have compleatly missed the point of philosophy in the same way that someone who has never actually engaged in it seriously.

Literally one of you best videos I feel the fundamental origin to life. Leo speaks beyond truth into the dominion of God. Question every questions. I really love you truth. Helps me realize mine.
I definitely shared your wonder when I was kid! I remember walking home from elementary school thinking about solipsism lol. I of course didn’t know it was called solipsism or what philosophy even was at the time, but I wondered if my experience was all that there was ect. .

2:15:05 on simplicity of teaching:
"The Dharma (the Truth in this context) should be explained in simple language. Not out of disrespect for the audience's intelligence but out of respect for the Dharma (the Truth)."

So important.
Beautiful. Life does have profound depths

Looking forward to Meta-Philosophy video!! Been curious about it for a while
Yeah, there's definitely a hole to look through right there. What doesn't matter is who you admire. What really matters is your understanding of reality. If you think about it, things kind of work in this winding system of sorts.
Been waiting for this video 😈
One vs many is a duality.
Self-duality: the one and the many are united.
@@vekeboxi8501 You're lucky you even had a philosophy teacher in high school. I went to a great high school but we didn't have philosophy as a class at all.
@@ActualizedOrg Sure but is a bad introduction to philosophy really better than none at all? I mean in general it does kill some peoples interest but to someone who is able to guestion the teaching it obviously doesn't matter
@@vekeboxi8501 public education is far from perfect.
Atleast he stopped and thought about it lol be thankful for that, it shows he’s not utterly dogmatic.
I remember when I was in high school I was disappointed at how little the orchestra teacher could teach me. They go by the book. If I wanted to really learn my instrument I needed to seek out truths and better education on my own. Same goes with this situation, there is only so much public school can teach you, if you want to really learn something you have to look for it on your own.
This is what I love to see!

Incorrect. Most kids are very interested in the deepest questions of existence; alas, the elders do whatever they can to discourage them.
Don't overglorify kids. Most kids are packs of brainwashed little monsters glued to video games and Instagram.
@@ActualizedOrg I think we didn't mean the same age. I had in mind kids at a relatively early age of 3 to 6-7. If you think those are also brainwashed then we disagree.
