    Fun Fact:
This was by far the most painful episode I ever recorded.
About 30 minutes into it the mask started to feel like burning hot needles in my face for 3 hours.
I could barely hear myself talking.
Kinda sad since this was my fave topic to talk about.

@@princessarabia3946 how can someone enjoy pain? One can enjoy the relief from pain. Or one can enjoy the thought process of what that pain means for them.
For example - bodybuilders endure much pain in certain exercises but at the same time enjoy thinking that this will get them their desired goals whatever those maybe.
So yes in this sense I guess one can enjoy pain.
And about people paying to instill pain,
      Why?
      It is toxic.

Can you do a video on sensuality sexuality and physical attraction or just attraction etc. And celibacy, or disciplined for lack of better words, and how it ties to spirituality. And how its usually in religion, in which religion basically tends to repress it, such as abstinence. Are we becoming more “sexually liberated”/expressive or are we becoming too perverse and perhaps too superficial when it comes to showing off the body. And what is the detriment of repressing it. It is of my opinion that this guy speaks mostly in platitudes and generalizations. I’ve listened several of his videos over the last 4 or 5 years and have not gleaned much of any wisdom from his words. I would consider him more of a modern day sophist than a truly wise individual that ultimately is interested in your money. I myself would recommend the Michael Sugrue channel as a great entrance into philosophy and the ideas of the western intellectual tradition. Sugrue has real credentials and is an old man at this point. Not once have I ever spent a dime for any of the information he has imparted and yet he’s an excellent thinker and historian with a philosophical bend. This guy Leo is garbage who claims the answers to ultimate reality then says he can’t tell us. Please, let me know what great wisdom or fact you learned from this man that makes viewing and following him worth while.

Arguing over which historic philosopher was right or wrong might not be serious philosophy, but it is philosophy and a good foundation to serious philosophy. Because these way you learn to understand how serious philosophers have thought and you can filter out bad philosophy for yourself and get an intuition how good philosophy looks.
In order to get to truth, it's useful to know what professional's paths towards truth looked like.

    • @ActualizedOrg

I have been reading philosophy for some time now. I will be giving this video a once over after this comment. One piece of advice I have is that second hand stores, garage and yard sales, the internet, librevox, Facebook yardsale are where I have gotten all of my books. You can get many of them for little to nothing and build them up when ever you find a new one. Another piece imo advice is that some of the more nuanced philosophies dont really have answers so you shouldn't feel like you have to look for them or feel bad you havent found them. In fact many raise more questions than answer, but it's the act of engaging with the question that IS the point of contact that's important. I'm actually knocking my own thesis around but I havent put pen to paper with it yet.

Thank you for enriching people with your wisdom. Thank God for everything we can philosophies about, or that God philosophies about itself.

Thank you Leo, this is a gem! I have been fumbling through all these schools of thought to get to the answers of what consciousness is... psycadelics brought me so many insights and i have healed my personality disorder in this pursuit. Your work has helped me tremendously and i couldn't be more grateful. I have a calling to help open up the minds of children, to create more deep thinkers. The world is in great need for that.
This year I'll dive deeper, thank you for the road map!
I had this strong insight that when we all get this right, our planet will become a sun. This concept is so deep though, hard to explain, but i know what i mean.
Edit: now that I've listened to the end... your cord analogy with immortality resignates with me completely, i picture it like knotted chains. If you are trying to untangle a necklace (i worked in a jewelry store), the best way is to place the chain on a solid surface and open up the knots (give space) and find the two ends (distinction). From there it's simple, not easy. This must be done over and over until you get it done, then it's important to store it correctly (integrate) it because if you don't, it will just get knotted again tomorrow.

Philosophy and Awakening for me is just a necessary understanding to have for survival. So by the time this body changes form and is no longer, I can be alright with it.

Would just like to give a formal thank you. This video led me to realize for the first time my Absurdism tendencies, research the matter, and identify them personally as a waste of time, perhaps a mostly non-helpful reaction at times in the face of true suffering, despair, and helplessness. Happened upon a video by Eternalised as well, a fitting synopsis of Albert Camus' "The Plague" which helped drive the issue home, and bolster the position of a more student based approach. While I have seen you laugh at absurdities, for the sake of a higher perspective, and I do think laughter is one of the best forms of medicine, it must be rooted in Love, always, I do not believe it to be a well-functioning foundational philosophy, but one that breeds tragedy and unbridled chaos, not the best environment for most. Thank you.

I remember when I was in high school I was disappointed at how little the orchestra teacher could teach me. They go by the book. If I wanted to really learn my instrument I needed to seek out truths and better education on my own. Same goes with this situation, there is only so much public school can teach you, if you want to really learn something you have to look for it on your own.
