If you wanna get your 500i and your Ms 261 ported I know a fella down in Chehalis he does good work ! Nice work fellas !! Thank you for another great video !!
I was like 200 !!! Lol I watched your video with Jacob and at one point your rigging line got a lot of twist in it . If you alternate which direction that you run the rope through the porta wrap it takes and keeps it out of your rope ! Stay safe
Your awesome, ive never seen a climber just come down a tree before its done to help clean the brush up. Then back up it you go. Great job though Mr 2 tops and Eric u need to watch out for them flower pots, lol.
Well, I'm not getting paid to just climb. As the owner, my goal is to get the job done. If that means going down to help clean up, then that's what I'll do. I can't imagine just sitting in the tree for 20 minutes just watching everyone else work.
Hey I have a request. The next time you do one of these trees, can you try out a certain technique? Can you clear out 1/3 of the tree straight up on one side only and then once you reach the point where you are about to top it, top that portion and then work the rest of the tree back down however you like. I read that if you leave some branches, it cushions the swaying of the tree, making it safer for removal. With the way this tree is being cut, personally I would feel too afraid of heights and especailly without branches. Also what do you think about topping it and then working back down to section and cut the 2/3 stem with the branches? Would the cuts be too heavy?
I know ya heard this before but a cinching knot on the biner will keep it orientated correctly when you put in on your line and send it up to cinch. Poachers or anchor bend. A Vulcan is one strong biner but open gate won’t matter how strong it is. Also the rock exotica steel ones are great because they open with down instead of up so when cinched it will be causing the gate to stay shut instead of the pressure being applied to open it. Or just wait til you get up to it and see it is almost open not if but when if you don’t change your knot to a cinching one that keeps the gate on top.
I haven't watched this video in a while, but the majority of the time we stage branches and do chip sessions to keep hours down on the chipper. We also wanted to keep the mini off the grass as much as possible. We have super soft soil up here. I'm not a huge fan of feeding the BC1000/1200/1500 with skid, the inlet isn't as wide as other chipper brands. Don't want to bang up the machine.
@@VeteranTreeService I completely understand that. I run a Bandit 21xp there are days I miss the simple days with smaller equipment and taking care of everything. How do you with the large logs and the smaller dump trailer?
I find that once the wood gets a little bit too big for me to comfortably push off. I'll start doing Salami cuts, To help it start. moving, then it just takes off on its own. Good video
I tried some of those on a previous tree. There was two things I wasn't crazy about, #1 the cut took a lot longer, and #2 I felt bad for the guy getting the wood. Other than that, they did come off the stem easier!
@VeteranTreeService Yeah, especially the bigger the wood, the steeper the cut needs to be, and it does tend to take a little while. It also doesn't sit in the truck or the trailer that you're putting the wood in as well as just straight cuts.
Tim you guy's did a great job my only complaint is you don't show us how you stump the roots could you show up how one time Tim 😂 tall stay safe cutting trees is very dangerous my old boss hit me with a long Branch and i was probably 30 yards away messed up my back
Ya! Watching it back, I'm like dang those are so close to hitting the house and fence, but in the moment, I can just tell what will fit and where. It's weird.
Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe! I appreciate it!
Clearly entertaining. Between groundie and climber. Good video
Very nice work

We have missed seeing your videos!!! As always, another AWESOME video!! Great job guys!!

We should have had your team take down our trees (in Florida), and then the house next door would not have been HIT. 😮 Great job, great teamwork.
Great job and awesome video keep up the hard work

Killer vid! The "Two-Tops" clip and view was pretty cool.
Ya! I like that I captured the skyline in that shot.
What rain jacket and pants are you using, I like it.

Looks like good raingear. Where can you buy of which brand that is? Thanks in advance.
Rain Gear Pro. They're out of Canada. Really nice gear! I'm considering working with them to help sell their products.
@@VeteranTreeServiceThat could be a good opportunity! It rains 13 months out of the year there 😂

Why aren't they using the skid steer for the branches? One guys sets it and the other grab and chip with mini.

Is that echo ported
Nope. Muffler, dogs, bar, modded.
Is that little saw an Echo? Which?
Yes. 2511T
if you order the pipe from Egan performance saws it will give that saw a 25 percent gain
I've seen those. Super sweet.
I got one on the 2511 from Gary buxton saw is a monster@@VeteranTreeService
All that just find a remote!
Lol. We were on a treasure hunt. 😃
Why not speed line them to the chipper?
Not quite far enough to be worth it.
