    First think I noticed was all the nice pieces of wood you have stashed in those boxes. 😊. I always like seeing and learning from ever so helpful carvers. Thank you.

    Great video Blake . I like how you have all the other heads there watching. I also watch Dave on woodcarving academy . I have you to thank for that, because I also watch international association of woodcarvers. So thank you. Learning a lot.

    Blake, instead of that synthetic background "music"(?) you could use some banjo/bluegrass

    Nice video Blake. Will you be doing a part 2 and so on until the bust is complete?

    • @lunsfordcarvings
      @lunsfordcarvings  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My plan will be to add more of the process. It's pretty lengthy so it would have to be in segments.

    Why didn't you use a square block?

    • @lunsfordcarvings
      @lunsfordcarvings  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The shoulders on a bust are wider than the body is from the front to the back. Additionally, the extra wood on the width allows you to turn the head and get a more believable pose.
