Its a small very basic janome.....it does only the basic of stitches and cost around $50 on sale when I bought it......but is great for mixed media work...you can find it here amzn.to/2FvvSGu
i have so much scrap fabric but i only have a small handheld sewing machine and i dont think it would go through all the layers. do you have any suggestions on how i could make one? i do have a strong fabric tape...do you think that would work?
Gina Ahrens I debated doing that as well then I saw another video where someone doesn’t sew at all. They just use two bigger holes and a fat ribbon to bind the book together. I think I may try that way.
Been wanting to do this. Have yyyYYYYYears worth of old blue jeans. Maybe when our house gets fixed I will find some when we move back in. (strong updraft tore our roof off and piles of rain damage inside. New roof on now and they have started fixing the inside. How we got everything packed and moved out into storage without any damage to our stuff is a miracle.)
Thanks for a great video, love the journals, but please do us a favour and edit out the repeat processes. We don't need to see the process 5 times, it makes the video too long and tedious, a problem with a lot of craft videos. Well done though for not chatting mindlessly over the whole video, another annoying craft video fail. Just my opinion. 👍👍
Love your style, thanks for sharing

maybe....you could do by hand with an upholstery needle and quilting thread....messy stitches look interesting....
