    Love’s confidence and poise in the pocket are ELITE. His reads have improved since Steelers game and hasn’t looked back-been on a tear past 2 months. With Jones playing like a top 5 back past 3 games and the talent these young receivers have to move the chains, Love is in a great spot

    One of the elite parts of Jordans Love game that doesnt get talked about much is his resilience when they are behind. Also his 3rd down coversions are insane. Last 3 games they converted almost 70% of their 3rd downs and were top 5 overall. That is damn near 20% better then the next best team.

    • @williamhermann6635
      @williamhermann6635 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I saw him live at Soldier Field week 1 and immediately noticed his 3rd down trend. He was something like 8/10 with 2 tds on 3rd and 4th down at one point. And what was never really talked about was how loud Soldier Field was that day. Bears fans had real hope with all the Fields MVP preseason talk snd all the new additions to their roster. The stadium was buzzing that day. Im a lifelong Packer fan from the Chicagoland area so Ive been to Soldier Field many times and that was the loudest crowd I've ever heard there, especially on the 3rd and 4th downs. And Jordan Love snatched the soul from every Bears fan in attendance that day. As soon as it would get loud, he made a play and shut everyone up. Right then and there I knew he was going to be amazing. Whatever "it" is, he has it. I've seen it with my own two eyes twice now as I was front row south end zone for the game last sunday too.

    Matt L. Talked about that long pass to 11 at 17:03 and said he wasnt even part of the read he was supposed to act as a distraction. He noticed the hole in coverage and broke route and ran to the hole, 10 noticed this and hit him. Its crazy for a rookie wr to make that kind of football IQ play and even more crazy a first year QB noticed it and hit him for a huge play.

    • @williamhermann6635
      @williamhermann6635 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      At that point Love had broke the tackle box scrambling left so Reed's job was to keep working to get open. It may not have been how the play was drawn up, but they do practice the scramble drill pretty heavily just like they did with Rodgers early in his career. Rodgers to Jordy was the best Ive ever seen on scramble drill but Love and Reed are looking like they have that kind of synergy where even when the play breaks down their on the same exact page. Something special is brewing here.

He could have easily of broke off and worked back to the QB which is common practice as a base level scramble drill.

    Chase, thanks for detailing these plays. Your analysis of Jordan Love is so much better and less frustrating than listening to the self-described experts that have never played. I believe Packer's quarterback coach Tom Clements coached Aaron Rodgers and possibly Brett Favre as well as Jordan Love. It would be great if you could get an interview with Tom Clements after the Packers win the Super Bowl and hear his comparison of these elite quarterbacks. I don't believe that I have ever heard anyone entertain the idea but I believe the interview could possibly become a historical archive...perhaps in Canton. God Bless.

      Everyone there thought it was a touchdown. You could hear the crowd celebrating. And honestly, it's not the same. The basketball hoop doesn't go out and catch the basketball. So when a shooter releases the ball, it either goes in the hoop or it doesn't and that i's on the shooter. With Jordan Love, he threw the ball exactly where it had to go and the ball was in Doubs hands, so as far as he is concerned, he did everything he as the quarterback was supposed to do and he believed that his receiver would finish it and that's what he celebrated. Everyone thought the same. Then Doubs lost possession and no touchdown.

    Dallas defensive backfield is talented but THEY HAVE NOT face a wr corp with this much weapons before.
    We might not have a number 1 wr playing but we have 5 number 2 wr very capable and talented. Love spreads the ball a lot thats why we only have 2 games with 2 wr over 100 yards. This makes it very hard for defenses to pin point who to shut down.
    Double teaming a wr is the biggest mistake defenses has made vs this corp.
    We just need a way to shut down a red hot ceedee. Maybe jaire shadow with ballentine on top or jaire on cooks, since he shut him down before and have ballentine and valentine on ceedee.
    Itll be a good game. Dont sleep on this packers offense... packers fans arent worried about the offense scoring, we are worried about our defense.

      What do you mean? The Cowboys are in the middle of the pack in run defense. They allow 112 rushing yards a game. You know who was the number 1 team against the run? The Bears, aka the team that couldn't stop Aaron Jones from gaining over 120 yards on them. When the game was on the line and the Packers needed only one first down to seal it, the number 1 rushing defense couldn't stop him from a 10 yard gain and one last first down. So, I would say running the ball would be a major factor in beating the Cowboys. Control the clock. Keep Dak and CeeDee off the field with long drives. And then that can open up play actions. It's a proven successful formula and Dallas is susceptible.

    damn I'm more impressed with the pass pro than Love. Some of these he has 4 plus seconds. I want to see him play under pressure before I say he is special. Most of these there is zero pressure withing 3-5 seconds. That is more about the line than the qb in my opinion.

    Skating on thin ice with those fade-away throws. People are hyping it up & calling it Rodgers-esque but those throws are floating. Appears they love that dagger route & other long-developing concepts... not sure that works against Dallas' pass rush. LaFleur absolutely knows how to dial it up though. Expect a good battle between GB offense & Dallas defense. Expect a slaughter from Dallas offense vs GB defense.

      first td pass aside none of them are really floating. I'd expect matt to be chipping both edges and mixing in a lot of PA off the run game with Jones. If they can slow down that pass rush they are going to gash that cowboys secondary. Expecting a shoot out with both teams scoring 30+

    He’s making some very risky throws there, that TD throw and that sideline slant route would belong to Bland all day.
    I see a pick or 2 today if he wants to try those throws against Dallas and if their pass rush gets going, Love will need to get rid of the ball quicker.
    This should be a good game but if Dallas actually shows up the it should be a little too much for the Packers to come out on top, especially if he turns the ball over.

    I've been watching this team for the majority of my life. I'm 32 yrs old. I have never been this excited about the future. The last time i had this butterfly in the stomach feeling was with Rodgers taking over in 08", this team is lightyears different conpared to 2008, that Packers offense was stacked. Only first year starting guy was Aaron Rodgers i believe..
