guys make sure ur face structure is suited for this kind of application. because its so high up on the face, it doesn't suit everyone including myself. always apply it where the light hits ur face naturally or else it wont show up
Why is makeup so complicated? 😞 Face shape, undertones, skin tone shades, skin type, trying not to clash with your eyes/hair color, blending sponges or brushes or fingertips, highlighter or bronzer or Blush but don't look like a clown, makeup caking*, wtf is baking?, pencil stick gel or liquid eyeliner, shaping your lips correctly, and omg contouring! How do you even begin? It's too stressful and everytime you go to a store you're bombarded by predatory employees forcing a sale that you don't even understand with products you don't know how to use let alone not knowing what they are or what's in them.
@@hellkittyninja7237 its okay, youll learn that its not too complicated. I started with the gilded gold milani eyeshadow pallete and foundation sample from dillards for concealer. I was able to achieve a full face “look”. Then after i got the hand of it, i upgraded to “real makeup”. Dont be intimidated, just start sloww ❤☺
@@hellkittyninja7237 start with basics!! or just the makeup *_you_* want to incorporate. i think blush and bronzer are fun places to start because you blend them out quite a bit and apply them next to each other so it’s easy to figure out. or lip products because there’s so much versatility and you can even wear them alone!! what do you want to emphasize on your face? eyes? try some eyeliner or eye contour. cheeks? try some bronzer at the high point where the sun would kiss you or underneath/in the hollow to sculpt or emphasize your cheeks. lips? a simple cute lipgloss you like the color of!! but with makeup remember!! you don’t have to watch a thousand videos on where to place anything (you can if you want), try things out and find what works for you- and i don’t mean what works according to any number of rules- but just what *_you_* like the look of on *_your_* skin. i hoped this was at least a little helpful and didn’t further complicate things 😅 makeup should be fun, not stressful :D
@@hellkittyninja7237 also, i started out with just three products and for my most basic routine i still use just these three: eyeliner, blush, and contour. i don’t do full face contour on really lazy days but i like contouring the bridge of my nose and you can have so much fun experimenting with blush placement!! :D
Always...always apply highligther where the skin naturally shines due to sunlight! Tilt or move your head to study and identify where the shine naturally visible and precisely apply small amount of highligther. Build them up as you like. You skin will appear naturally glowing!
I feel like it all depends on what you’re going for and how mature your skin is. I wouldn’t want to highlight that far up near my eyes to highlight fine lines. But I’d definitely pat around the high cheekbone and temples.

As you age and get crows feet the last thing you wanna do is draw attention to or further illuminate wrinkles !!so this isn’t gonna to work right for all!!
Admittedly face shape can make it not as flattering to you, I have a man’s face structure and I love the way highlight shines off my corner eye bag to my cheekbone, if you have dark under eyes it’s a fun way to bring light without having to conceal.
